the sedins seriously need to take some cues from Kesler and up their game. Henrik losing 2 key draws in the last minute in the offensive end pretty much says it all.

spideyv2 05-07-2011 06:57 PM

Nashville shouldn't even be here, look at all the bullshit goals they've scored..fucking ridiculous. We should've closed this out tonight regardless, now we got more travel when San Jose can possibly close out Detroit tomorrow night. Sedin's are still failing to show up, seems like Kesler is the only one that really wants to win.

Fuck

cliffhanger33 05-07-2011 06:57 PM

Sigh.... We worked hard
Had chances on the last few minutes

platinum300 05-07-2011 06:57 PM

Damn the Sedins suck. Is there some way to clone Kesler?

jigga250 05-07-2011 06:57 PM

Horrible game by Edler as well with the own goal and the cough up on the 4th nashville goal. 2 shorthanded breakaways also, I mean REALLY?!

no doubt, sedin's had me cringing every time they were falling/flopping on the ice ALL game. I can only hope their injured, cause playing like this in the playoffs while you're healthy just says something.

They say he's our potential number 1 d-man. It's hard to think that when you see him commit so many errors

cliffhanger33 05-07-2011 06:59 PM

Keslers 3rd goal in the game gave us so much hope

Greenstoner 05-07-2011 07:00 PM

Please no more game 7 I beg

this was a defensive break down tonight. same story with back checking for most of the night.

i need to wear the shirt i wore on game 7 again... it worked for game 3 this series too.

MG1 05-07-2011 07:01 PM

Good game by the Preds.

cliffhanger33 05-07-2011 07:04 PM

Feels like Canucks just want a more dramatic win, instead of a quick clean win on the first elimination game.

scottsman 05-07-2011 07:05 PM

Kesler is an animal after coming back from that injury in the game to score another goal. Torres had an awesome game too.

Stats speak for themselves, Twins gotta step up, Lu allowed 4 goals on 23 shots, 1st line combined for -9.

ballard anyone? seriously..a gainst a team like the preds, you need a d man that can get the first pass out and clean.. rome cant do that... even if av has something against ballard, he needs to put the team in front of his hate... we need speed and crisp passes against a trap team like the preds.

Kesler is a beast and I bet management wishes they made him captain.

Defense in general played pretty bad getting the puck out of their own zone.

MG1 05-07-2011 07:07 PM

Canucks up for Frank Gerard Award.

The team that finds the most ways to lose.

spideyv2 05-07-2011 07:12 PM

As long as Rome keeps suckin AV's dick and buying his gum, Ballard will not see anymore ice time

Spidey 05-07-2011 07:13 PM

Even though I am pretty choked about the game tonight, did you all think that the Canucks would sweep or win every series in 5 games? I know you all are emotionally attached to the team, but you have to remember that the team on the other side is battling it out for their life in the playoffs. Look at the Sharks last night. Do you think they wanted to play game 5?

I am pretty sure none of the Canucks wanted to go back to Nashville. This is the NHL and any team can win if a few bounces don't go your way. Again, I am dissapointed and wish I did not have to see another game against the Preds, but as long as they win each series, I really don't care how they got there.

Agreed, I was pretty damn pleased with being up 3-1, and still reasonably content up 3-2 with home ice adv. Considering we split the season series 2-2, and only managed 5 goals in those 4 games, the Nucks play, at least vs the Preds, seems to have improved since then. Theyve been outshooting and outchancing for most of the series, but tonight really needed to tighten up defensively IMO.
