So impressed with Detriot's effort and determination in the 3rd period, when they were down 3 goals to 1.
If the Nucks could bring even half of that to the table, we wouldn't be talking about game 6 tomorrow.
I hope the coaches show the players the Detriot video to let them know how much effort is needed by the entire team to win a game.

I'm eternally optimistic (maybe to a fault) that they will start producing. They're too good not to.

Why I got my Ohlund jersey 4 years ago, I asked for an A on it (at the time Ohlund was wearing the A but only because one of the alternates was injured) but the guy said because he's not an official alternate captain, they aren't allowed to put it on.
Was this guy  ing me???

NHL does have lots of rules in place for example if you wanted to get a 40th anny jersey with Linden's #16 on the back stores are not permitted because Linden never played wearing that jersey. I understand Ohlund technically wore it but he wasn't a real Alternate so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't permitted.
The only times you can bend the rule is if you find a store who doesn't give a fuck and just wants your money or buying a fake jersey.

i've always felt the canucks lack that killer instinct. it almost feels like there's some arrogance there where they feel they don't need to play their best to close out a series. clearly, not all of them play that way (look at kesler for example) but we need the collective effort and "A" game from the WHOLE team to make a deep run!
with that said, who else has a lucky t-shirt/jersey they wear? i mentioned it before, but i'll be wearing the shirt i wore for game 7 vs chicago and game 3 vs nashville for tmrws game  | |

no buddy, that's just my opinion. we had that same kind of mentality against the shittiest teams during the season. i know they're trying hard, but the mistakes and misfortunes are just hard to watch. i have plenty of faith in this team, i'd just like to see some better results as we've clearly seen them play better than last night.

We need that player who gets into teammates faces and tells everyone to step it up. If the team keeps playing like they are, I think Kesler will be the one to do it.
