i've played golf with Gino many times and i've been to his place to play poker too. Gino's still how everyone remember him, doesn't take things too seriously and will always stand up for friends. You can probably catch Gino and Tiger williams at On Lok on Hastings from time to time too, they love that place.

Rogers Arena will take some time to get used to but the logo looks great!
btw, who's the new sponsor on the top right just above the faceoff dot?

well, we finally have a Hart Memorial Trophy winner...

I was at the hockey hall of fame a few weeks ago, and Hanks name wasn't on it yet... bummer.

If you're gonna put up a pic of Bure, at least put up a pic of him in the skate logo.

I love Bure and he was the reason i started watching hockey, still my favorite player, but without a doubt, Trevor Linden is the greatest Canuck of all time.

Stats wise + excitement = Bure

Off ice contributions = Linden

Linden defines the Canucks. Bure defines sheer fucking awesomeness.

Depends on your values. For me and a strictly on-ice value, it was Bure > Linden.

Even in today's amateur hockey players that I see locally in adult beer leagues, I see more of Bure than Linden.

I always underestimate Bure's size cause of his speed.

but definitely made me a nuck fan in the 90's there was a period of me not caring for a while, until last season.

Haha, Thanks dude. That's probably because me (and everyone else) in my neighborhood "emulated" Bure. Not Gretzky, not Jagr, not Lemiuex, not Kariya, not Selanne, not even Linden. Every kid wanted to be Bure at that time. It's amazing how much influence that guy had on our grass roots hockey in the 90's that resonates today; which is kinda sad to see how much hate this guy gets now.

Damn, old schoolgrounds hockey were good memories.

Exactly - lots of people have skill OR speed. Bure could do crazy stuff with the puck while flying down the ice. And his acceleration was ridiculous.
