^ Keep trying, give it some time. The 2 previous rounds nothing would show up for a couple minutes. And then the tickets started appearing.

Sean Avery declares support for gay marriage, some other sports agency representing several NHLers tweets the following:

Very sad to read Sean Avery's misguided support of same-gender "marriage". Legal or not, it will always be wrong.

Avery is a douche in all senses of the word, but dayum, this is low, Uptown Sports Management.

though I fully support Avery in his support for this I do laugh when he says that he treats others as he expects to be treated.

he looks like a goof with those glasses

Demand during game day is still there. You'll occasionally luck out from scalpers outside the arena ~1/2 hour before the game. Tickets do end up being significantly cheaper after puck drop and you can get them for below face value.

Might be forced to do that if the ticket options you got were during the presale.

lets do it!!!!

murd0c 05-10-2011 01:17 PM

Fuck I'm going to price is right on Sunday. It starts at 2 so hopefully I wont miss the game :(

TRDood 05-10-2011 01:49 PM

Dude I negotiated my price for my Round 3 tickets before Game 6 started and as soon as they won I went and picked them up. I got home and checked Craigslist again and it was like prices immediately jumped by $100/ticket at minimum.

I just checked again and tickets in the same location are almost double what I paid LASTNIGHT! Crazy.

yameen 05-10-2011 02:04 PM

no matter what kind of fan you are, $700+ for a ticket is not worth it. fail me all you want but watching the game on a nice tv where you can see the game clearly for free is better than dishing out that kind of money. i wonder how much profit the organization makes out of these tickets.

punkwax 05-10-2011 02:27 PM

$700 isn't worth it to the avg person (like me) but for some, dropping $700 is like spending $5 - blame those rich bastards for playoff ticket inflation! :D

spideyv2 05-10-2011 02:54 PM

I'd much rather watch the game at home or a buddies house rather than throwing 7 bills on a ticket. Going to the game is fun and all but going to buy food, a beer, or even going to take a piss can be a bitch. Guaranteed, you're going to miss more of the game if you go live unless you can hold in your piss and not eat for 3+ hours.

shawn79 05-10-2011 02:59 PM

for $700 i can fly down to san jose and watch 2 games

HonestTea 05-10-2011 03:02 PM

I don't think tickets are that much cheaper in San Jose. Even if they are, the tickets would be hard to get. My cousin lives down there and he tells me it's always full and busy at the HP pavilion.

Not really racist! 05-10-2011 04:03 PM
