Vancouver @ Edmonton is probably more plausible.

It was 3 degrees and rained at this years Winter Classic. It could work in Vancouver.

Not really the ideal conditions and besides we don't have an outdoor venue for this to happen, besides Empire Field which is probably too small.

I'm happy for Grabner. He's better off playing 1 or 2nd line for another team then sitting on the bench for us. Good to see him sign the deal with the beg of the season he had last year.

I agree. There really wasn't any room for Grabner to take a top 6 role on the team unless we traded away Raymond.

The thing that could possibly hurt is if Quinton Howden (the 1st round pick we traded away) turns into a good player. He had another excellent season in Moose Jaw this year.

But if the Canucks win this Cup this year, it doesn't really matter either way!

Honestly, who gives a crap about next year's Winter Classic? This year's Stanley Cup still needs to be decided.

I think Jumbo has arrived, but the jury's still out on Heatley and Patti. I think Pavelski and Couture will do some damage.
For the Canucks, someone in the bottom 6 needs to step-up: Hansen is capable, but I'm looking at Torres and Oreskovich. San Jose is weak on the rush, so maybe Tambellini draws in?

The tickets there are just as much there as they are here to see a game $150for the cheapest seats

not a big deal. He's a centerman and we're pretty deep in center with hank, kesler, malhotra and hodgson

11/12 in simulation... and the prediction gone wrong was san jose taking it 4-3 rather than detroit. Very close predictions in my opinion. Too bad bertuzzi and cleary were injured in game 7
