^ they can do it at rogers center (baseball stadium 65,000) and it will be 100% sold out
Won't happen either as its not a true outdoor venue. The talks right now is to use the field at Toronto FC after they go through renovations so probably won't happen for awhile either.
nhl.com has change the lightnings logo and when i went to their page they change the wallpaper too
are they gonna start wearing the new jerseys? http://lightning.nhl.com/index.html
I'm happy for Grabner. He's better off playing 1 or 2nd line for another team then sitting on the bench for us. Good to see him sign the deal with the beg of the season he had last year.
Maybe do some research on the the new BC place, its pretty much just a sunroof...I can guarantee they will use a true out door venue just like they have used in the past.

Good news for the Isles. They need to sign Tavares long term too or this franchise going to get set back AGAIN.

I agree. There really wasn't any room for Grabner to take a top 6 role on the team unless we traded away Raymond.
The thing that could possibly hurt is if Quinton Howden (the 1st round pick we traded away) turns into a good player. He had another excellent season in Moose Jaw this year.
But if the Canucks win this Cup this year, it doesn't really matter either way!
Honestly, who gives a crap about next year's Winter Classic? This year's Stanley Cup still needs to be decided.
Let's have some real debate about the upcoming series.
I think Jumbo has arrived, but the jury's still out on Heatley and Patti. I think Pavelski and Couture will do some damage.
For the Canucks, someone in the bottom 6 needs to step-up: Hansen is capable, but I'm looking at Torres and Oreskovich. San Jose is weak on the rush, so maybe Tambellini draws in? Posted via RS Mobile

not a big deal. He's a centerman and we're pretty deep in center with hank, kesler, malhotra and hodgson
11/12 in simulation... and the prediction gone wrong was san jose taking it 4-3 rather than detroit. Very close predictions in my opinion. Too bad bertuzzi and cleary were injured in game 7

Ea simulation has Vancouver winning the series 4-2
(1) Vancouver vs. (2) San Jose
Game 1: San Jose 5 @ Vancouver 2
Game 2: San Jose 3 @ Vancouver 4 [OT]
Game 3: Vancouver 3 @ San Jose 2 [OT]
Game 4: Vancouver 2 @ San Jose 4
Game 5: San Jose 1 @ Vancouver 4
Game 6: Vancouver 3 @ San Jose 2
