I was quite shocked over Don Cherry's comments about the Green men about the Carrie Underwood stunt.
What's hilarious is that Fisher thought the Green Men's stunt of Carrie Underwood's cardboard cut out was humorous and had even had a good laugh and joke about it. So Cherry's getting all sanctimonious and indignant for nothing. They weren't offensive towards Underwood unlike comments made by many fans to opposing teams' players about elements of their personal lives. Carrie's own husband quoted as saying “I was going to give her (cardboard cutout) a kiss, but I thought it was too serious of a game,” while laughing about it. In short, props to Fisher for having a tiny sense of humour and Cherry should lax a little bit.

Living here in Edmonton for the past 8 months - there really is a hate on for the Canucks. Its funny thought because you can tell how much they want to chirp and they do sometimes, but it's kind of hard when the Canucks won the presidents trophy, back to back scoring leaders in the sedin's, keslers 41 goals, and countless other feats this year...

I don't expect anything less, but all the friends i've made here..go to the trouble of updating their bbm and fb status to go hawks , or go nashville...now its go sharks..like they actually go to the trouble of doing this..
