So g/f turned 30 June 4th and wants to go to Loon Lake for her bday. I kinda told her not sure all depends what happens with the playoffs. She said it's her 30th she will do what she wants :s
I'm sitting here thinking after 11yrs I might be single cause this is a fricken dream of mine dammit.
What would you guys do? and shes not a big hockey fan at all I might add.
I'm not joking at all!!

^ I'm going to hawaii june 13-20. If we actually win the cup and I miss the parade i'm going to be sooo choked. I didn't even want to go to hawaii because of the playoff's. That, and I wanted to save money.
yet, the gf pressured me into going because she hasn't been before.
I will honestly be heart broken if I miss it.

just checked the calender, if we do make it to the finals ull just miss games 1 and 2 possibly 3.
my guess are game 1 starts tues(1) thurs(2) saturday(3)

My friends in BC text me all the time (i'm in Toronto) under their normal text messaging plan and they don't get charged anything extra. I do the same, and I've confirmed that if you have data it works anywhere in Canada. I'm with Rogers, but i'm pretty sure this is the same with all carriers.

My gf started watching and playing hockey just because I did.
and now she's out of control buying all this Canuck and hockey stuff, and she says it's to make me happy.
I don't even spend money on Canuck merchandise. wtf.
On serious note... how many days (games) will you be missing?
if it's just the first few games, might as well just man up. In the end, if you say no now...
you're risking your relationship for something... that might not even happen... if you know what I mean..

Issa has since taken down the sign completely, but he said he won't pay the money, and wonders why his restaurant was singled out.
"[I'm] surprised, I [said] it can't be, it's nonsense," said Issa. "I see places all around Montreal [showing] Go Habs Go."
The lawyer and the NHL would not speak to CBC News for this story, but the league did send a brief emailed response.
"The NHL takes seriously the protection of league and team trademark rights," the email said.
Issa said he just wanted to support his hometown hockey team, and said the idea came from his children.
"They said to me, 'Dad, why don't you do something to support the Canadiens?'" said Issa.

NHL is very poor considering it being a major sport.
chicago blackhawks won the stanley cup last season and they were still losing money and same for tampa bay this yr if they go on to the finals they will lose estimate 30million.
