You can do that whenever you want your whole life, you cant watch the nucks win the cup whenever you want your whole life..

true north and sponsors should wait for the coyotes to come back to winnipeg. If they are buying the franchise, at this point the coyotes has more valuable assets than the stupid atlanta thrashers... plus they will have the rights to name it jets again.

coyotoes/jets could look like the OKC thunder with a bunch of youngstars. The crowd would be nuts in winnipeg and would potenially draw superstar to that market.

shawn79 05-16-2011 05:04 PM

its only whc big deal

for canada

kinda want, meh

DanHibiki 05-16-2011 05:16 PM

WHC is the biggest deal in Europe.

They interviewed Henrik (or was it Daniel) and they said growing up, it was all about dreaming of one day winning the WHC, much like the Stanley Cup is to us Canadians.

Of course that changed as they entered the NHL.

Vansterdam 05-16-2011 05:17 PM

kid rock prob booked that day on purpose just in case the redwings actually won instead of SJ :troll:

orange7 05-16-2011 05:28 PM

WHC.. meh.. the two world greatest players (crosby and datsyuk) weren't even it in.

belka 05-16-2011 05:43 PM

Good for Finland, but that tournament hardly had the best players representing each nation. Seems to me most Canadians don't care about the loss since we won Gold.

How much are flights and tickets?
Posted via RS Mobile

I'm booked. Flying out from Seattle on thursday morning into San Fran. Leaving Monday night. Charged just under $400 for the flight.

Cheapest tickets are just under $200 for seats in the upper bowl from what I looked up but we're not too worried about finding tickets.

I'm sitting here thinking after 11yrs I might be single cause this is a fricken dream of mine dammit.

What would you guys do? and shes not a big hockey fan at all I might add.

I'm not joking at all!!

That will be close to the finals.

My buddy's girlfriend, who is also a close friend of mine as well, once asked us if we would go to her wedding if it fell on the same day as game 7 of the finals if the Canucks were in it and I said no.

Maybe if it was a non-elimination game like a game 2 or 3 or something but game 7?

Your woman might not give you any vagina for awhile so the question you have to ask yourself is...is a week or two of the silent treatment worth seeing the Canucks in the final?

More importantly, she should realize that this is something important to you. Birthdays are just days. So she's 30...big whoop. The Canucks haven't made the West final in 17 years and haven't won the Cup in 40. If she just wants to celebrate her birthday, tell her you'll take her on vacation after the playoffs and buy her a spa treatment in the meantime or something.

But then again, women never see things rationally so I think either way, you're fucked.

My loved ones understand the Canucks are important to me and would never ask me to do something that is not important and would take me away from the game during the playoffs.

If the tables were turned, we wouldn't ask women to do stuff when they have important stuff.
