Rumour alert: I heard from a friend of a friend that Rogers Arena will indeed be open to the public for Canucks road playoff games. The cost will be $10 per person and all proceeds will go to Canuck Place. With Hamilton Street(between Georgia and Robson) already closed to vehicles during games, this will just add to the atmosphere downtown during road games.
If this is indeed true (99% chance that it is) then many thanks to @CityCaucus for spearheading this initiative on the might Twitter.

Your balls are sensitive things!! They shouldn't be played around with, at least not like that, and you should NOT BE DIPPING THEM IN AFTERSHAVE! Oh my god, I feel sorry for your balls!"

So g/f turned 30 June 4th and wants to go to Loon Lake for her bday. I kinda told her not sure all depends what happens with the playoffs. She said it's her 30th she will do what she wants :s
I'm sitting here thinking after 11yrs I might be single cause this is a fricken dream of mine dammit.
What would you guys do? and shes not a big hockey fan at all I might add.
I'm not joking at all!!
I genuinely feel bad for you. Shit, after 11 years she should know how important hockey/Canucks are to you.
She's living in a hockey crazed city and with a hockey-crazed boyfriend and she doesn't know the significance of the Stanley Cup?!?!?
I literally have "seeing the Canucks win the cup" as my list-of-things-to-do-before-I-die.

meh it will all work out in the end. I dont care either way cause the game comes first. Once the Canucks win the cup if I found out I had only 1 month to live I would die fricken happy and wouldnt care since my dream came true!!
I'm buying her a TV for her bday and when I give it to her I'm going to say happy? now leave me alone when the game it on
Put your foot down or you'll spend your life watching Canucks games on mall TVs, holding your woman's purse.
Some people just don't get it, I guess. Hockey, and sports in general, is important. People that say it's just a game or that it isn't significant just don't understand. It's like religion.
