sopel was a cracker. i meant salo should one up him by getting a slipped disk from a peanut or m&m. there have been some weird ones for hockey players.. sakic putting his hand in a snow blower. renberg got a blister from tying his skates which became infected and left him in a hospital. renberg also slipped on the anchor and fell off a boat and the propeller sliced his bicep.

Yeah, there's always a lineup of people ready to throw Lu under a bus as soon as anything bad happens. The way I see it, the roar of LUUU after each save is still strong, and that's all that matters. In the end, I think this city is lucky to have Luongo, whether they know it or not.

Somehow, I feel like this Malhotra issue is a lot like watching those Sidney Crosby practice videos as he recovered from concussion. It teases the fans even though the timeline for recovery is far from certain.

i remember he had a foot infection but not sure how it happened. i think his herniated disk and blown knee ended his career. I do remember that tyler bouck got bacteria from his glove into his blood stream and it could have killed him.
Malhotra isn't gonna be returning, I don't know why people on CDC are getting their hopes up. The guy needs 1 more eye surgery and he's our face off specialist, his vision isn't gonna be 100%.
