VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver Canucks winger Mikael Samuelsson underwent successful surgery today to repair his adductor tendon and sports hernia and the team says that he will be out indefinitely. "After consultation with our physicians, it was decided that surgery was the best course of action," said Canucks general manager Mike Gillis.
The Canucks say Samuelsson is out indefinitely, but his season is likely over. The 34-year-old Samuelsson suffered the injury during game five of the Canuck's second-round series with Nashville and hasn't played since. He was bothered by hip problems late in the regular season.

Unless you're on a companies probation period, but once you're a full employee either part time or full time, they can't fire you because they don't have just cause?
