The real kicker was Eager calling out Bieksa for picking a fight with Marleau... then Marleau stating outright that he was the one who challenged Bieksa. Way to show what an idiot you really are, Ben. Keep flapping that mouth.

Wait, so which Canadian city is a good place for a new hockey team?

I must be mistaken, because I remember people were talking about it a year ago or so.

How does ATL fail twice yet FLO survives? As much as I want another Canadian team, I can't see team surviving there either.
Does anyone know if the NHL has ever considered Seattle? WA has tons of junior teams and it would be sweet to drive down and cheer for VAN at half the cost.

If they built an NHL sized arena than they should seriously consider posting up a franchise there. Canucks, Seattle, Wild, Oilers, and Flames would look like an actual North West division

Noir 05-19-2011 11:13 PM

Game Day. Hopefully that extra trash talk by Eager on goal #3 pisses Lu off in a good way; as in dedication to shut the door the rest of the series.

Florida has better attendance than Atlanta, nearly 2,000 more seats sold. Last 3 years, ATL has always been the bottom 3 in attendance.

Although Seattle seems like an awesome place for an NHL team, they don't have a big enough arena. On wikipedia, it says Key Arena can fit 11,000 for hockey.

^^ thanks!!

But isn't that the case for Winnie, Quebec city or even Hamilton. They have to upgrade their arenas or build new ones up to NHL standards?
I know Winnie has done it now, but If any of those other cities want a team theyll have to start from scratch too. Seams like a great city is being overlooked.

Majority of the players signed it got a few more signatures on the front...

I just bought this jersey from the Team Store at Game 1 of WCF, last one my size on the rack .. definitely did not expect it to be signed by the team just 4 days later ...

Quebec City and Hamilton are probably the best choices for markets but they don't have a modern arena that can handle a NHL team so one would have to be built after securing an owner. Winnipeg has the facilities and a good sized population but good luck getting free agents willing to play there.

If they don't want to live in Edmonton, they sure as hell aren't going to like Winnipeg. If Pronger gets traded there, that would be AWESOME.

SkinnyPupp 05-20-2011 01:11 AM

Lu usually plays better on the road, so maybe the Canucks won't have to score 3 or more to win it. Then again, he hasn't played in SJ all season so who knows?

Well that drafting, signing and trading for every African they could get their hands on hasn't helped much. Does this mean we see a new direction since the demographics in Winnipeg will be different? Maybe trade some of those black guys for natives?
