Personally, I don't think it matters who we play. If the Sedins are shut down, that means Kesler has more room out there. If they focus on the Kesler line, the Sedins will run wild.

If they somehow stop both? Well, Trollface, Viking Ginger and the Great Dane have been awesome in the playoffs. I wouldn't hesitate to rely on lunchpail guys like that when we need them.

i think it doesn't matter who we face. the defense may be weaker for Tampa but TB seems to play with far more heart and that could be an edge that makes the difference. BOS does have Chara but they also seem to fall asleep from time to time. as long as the canucks are playing physical and continue to get solid shifts from line 3 and possibly line 4, they will be fine.

As for the Boston VS Tampa argument heres my take

Entertainment wise it's hands down Boston, fuck playing a stupid shut down system again, if Tampa plays a true 3-1-1 system to win, that system is even more defensive than NSH is..

Also i dont really want to see the nucks try to adapt to another defensive style, tampa has the skill to score goals based on turn-overs, but Tampa's d are slugs and would get blown by the majority of the nucks players, also Tampa's goaltending is suspect

Boston, they are a sluggish team as a whole, guys from the east were on the radio today saying why the nucks DONT want to play Boston, he listed 3 main factors

A) Thomas [lol in the playoffs and personally overall Lu > Thomas] so thats irrelevent

B) Chara, again is anyone actually scared of Chara? he's slow as fuck, sure hes a factor in battling a kesler etc. in front, but other than that, defensively he doesnt scare me at all as a Canuck

C) Bergeron [because of face off skills and his "game changing" ability] which i scoffed at how much emphasis he put on him, personally i've never liked bergeron but he always seems to end up on my pool teams..

The East style as a whole is so gross, i could realistically see the nucks just hammering whoever comes out, the east is completely based on turn overs and end to end rushes, basically come down the wing, get a chance, turn back and go the other way

i say fuck whoever were playing cause we're better than both teams baby!
