The team that is supposed to be in the final won. This will be a great final.
- 2 teams that haven't won the cup in nearly 4 decades
- An original 6 versus a hot shot team that plays the game how it's meant to be played post-lockout
- 2 Vezina goalies
- 2 European captains, one of which will hoist the cup
- Strong PK versus strong PP
Let's face it - the entire league outside BC is already pulling for the Bruins. If we win, we will silence all of the haters and the team will be remembered as one of the best for the next decade at the very least.

I laughed because we're never going to do that. If/when we win they're pull something out of their ass like they always do.
I presume they'll say something like, "well they were the favourites so it's not that big of a deal"

tampa lit boston the fuck up and boston has had a horrendous PP this entire post season lol. i'd have to say the special teams advantage is solely ours. 5v5, i'd still give us a slight edge. this will indeed be a close battle though mainly because of the defensive and goaltending matchups.

yes, i am. good thing is this doesn't affect the team. they know it'll be a tough series and they'll approach it as they have all year long: one game at a time. right now there are a lot of bandwagoners spewing whatever garbage they think is right. hell, a large majority of them probably haven't even watched a single boston post season game this year so far.
he (89blkcivic) *has* posted a few times during games and of course hardly anyone has noticed since his name change and avatar removal. i noticed his change at 1271 posts in this thread and he now has 1284 i believe.
