Signed a tryout contract with them for now. I don't get why his pic is on the site tho.

Nothing about this on Canucks.com or the forums.

murd0c 09-15-2010 06:21 PM

Well same here. I know all hobbies are expensive. I'm just simply saying I can name a handful of sports much cheaper than hockey.
But I'm not gonna tell my kids to like a specific sport just because one costs less. I'll let them find out what they want to do and
be there to support.

I can really only think of basketball and soccer as cheaper sports. Maybe something like swimming or track but if they really get into those, I'm sure getting into those programs is expensive as well.

raygunpk 09-15-2010 06:37 PM

it's just the site.

I dont get it. What is this "news" about B-mo? The site you posted is just his old profile page when he was here.

No news.

B-Mo waiting for a contract. Does not want to sign a "tryout".

The article says Morrison's 25... :lol

Expresso 09-16-2010 10:11 AM

Seems like waste for him to play 4th line center though. I just can't see him being signed here. Be cool though.

b0unce. [?] 09-16-2010 10:20 AM

Morrison signing back with us is something I wouldn't mind. He's pretty legit, i'd be okay with it if he signed for the right price.

kristianhay 09-16-2010 10:35 AM

Probably under a mil, third line possibly with Burrows out and Hodgson possibly not ready for main camp? 42 pts last season is too good for fourth line duties.

Hondaracer 09-16-2010 10:42 AM

Mo's gotta go!

Not down with bringing him back, he will be 4th line center if anything and IMO he doesn't really fit that role unless he's going to change his game to become more defensive minded and more physical

Doubt third line center. We signed Manny Maholtra to be the third line center. Doubt he will be the 2nd line center, and don't expect him to be 4th line center.

411ken 09-16-2010 11:06 AM

I agree that Mo has got to go...I just don't see a fit for him here....

Another thought..... is Anson Carter still playing anywhere? lol....i remember him asking for a huge raise after a year with the twins lol

OhSoGood 09-16-2010 11:12 AM

What a FAIL lol

Well I mean you could throw anyone with the sedins or be a body infront of the net and pick up garbage goals.

But do it well at the same time? How many people tried to fill that role and do as well as Carter or Burrows?

Sidenote: Carter scored 33 goals and was still -1 that season, wtf!
