if I can't find tickets I'll be going to cbc plaza for game 5. Is there drinking that will be happening outside??? What is a good time to get there to get a good spot? Sorry, I'm from outta town so don't know this stuff. thanks
imo, the CBC plaza sucks. The screen is horrible. Either go to the Commodore (tickets are free via Ticketmaster) or the Edgewater Casino behind GM place. 3 Large theatre screens and $3 beer. That's where I'll probably be going.
bettman backing up atlanta so much "we're not saying winnipeg is better than atlanta blah blah blah"
winnipeg is gonna be the 3rd most expensive ticket in canada
toronto
montreal
winnipeg <---- FUCKED UP; franchise that rank 29th will not rank top 10 among all teams after next season
calgary
vancouver
edmonton

Where are you getting your numbers from? When I saw the price matrix for season tickets they seem to be cheaper than what we pay for in Vancouver. There lower bowl center ice goes for $129 and Nose bleeds start at $39 which is pretty reasonable and cheaper than Vancouver. You also have to consider that the MTS is a pretty small building and they have to make up revenue some how.

You just want me to come hang out with you I won't be leaving here until 1130 and still have to check in at the best western so don't know if I'll be done by 330/4???? And there could be anywhere from 8/9 of us to 15 or more Posted via RS Mobile

I got my numbers from tsn and forbes and of course im angry... as long as bettman is in charge there will always be a chance Thrashers moving back to Atlanta if there is a potential long term owner.
Winnipeg is gonna get 1 strike and thats it for the city! They are being treated unfairly is what i think, does the nhl or true north need to rip off winnipeg fans No but this help NHL generate money which then cover up some of the money lost in phoenix right now.
Winnipegians dont deserve to get ripped off first season in the nhl, they are force to commit to buy 5 yr worth of season tickets. Knowning Thrashers are in rebuilding mode, they are force to watch shitty hockey for a high price rank 3rd amung all canadian teams (4th in the NHL).
mattsekeres: Malhotra not cleared to play. Stayed away from practice on doctors orders. (17 seconds ago from txt)
VanCanucks: Mike Gillis: Malhotra will be back with the Team tomorrow. He's cleared for contact, but we are taking it day-by-day and being patient. (52 seconds ago from Mobile Web)
benkuzma Gillis: "Manny was told it's best to stay away today. He hasn't been cleared to play, just for contact. He's still day-to-day,"
kenwardskorner: Mike Gillis says there's been no set-back for Manny Malhotra. Will be back with the team tomorrow. (1 minute ago from Twitter for iPhone)
sportsnetmurph: Club now saying Manny is still day to day and hasn't been cleared to play. I don't believe that's what the Canucks said a couple days ago. (19 seconds ago from UberSocial)

I wonder if they'll be any backlash from any of the Trasher players because they have to relocate from ATL to Winnipeg.
i'm sure there will be but what can they do? iirc, walking away from the team is an automatic suspension from the league and it wouldn't be smart to bad mouth the city you're about to live and work in.
i'm still rather happy that buttfugger is being forced to live in winnipeg

Good, get rid of unwanted players and build a franchise where its interested in winning and fan appreciation.

hes already won a stanley cup, best if he just sign 1 yr deal to see how he likes it in winnipeg.
if winnipeg really wants him he can just gold dig 5mill/ 10 yrs and go down in history as the first captain of the winnipeg _______.
