^ yea, and im not leaving until the 20th so might be able to get somewhat of a deal on gear after the finals

anyways here's the fake i bought because i was being stupid and didnt take a closer look, basically a friend of a friend sold me and a buddy 2 Kesler sweaters, didnt even really look at them since they were only $100, they have all bars stiched, a fight strap, numbered sizing, etc. if i had seen the shoulder patches earlier i would have probably been tipped off.. oh well just hang it up proabably for just the Kesler side..

lol 100 bucks should have been the first tip off.. the shitty thing is whoever sold it to you made money off it.

secondly, i would have been more tipped off from just the shoulder patches.. ie.. the kesler being sewn directly on the jersey, the colour, the vancouver font, the number font, the orca, and last but not least, the fight strap..

you should put a side by side with another orca, you would see the difference even more.

damn, I would have been tipped off immediately by the colour.
It screams out "gross" when I look at it. Before I even read your post, I looked at the photo and the colours made me cringe. And until I saw the side by side, did I notice that the Canuck colours are blue and green in that arrangement. I thought they had mixed up the placement of the white and blue and green areas at first. Their version of light blue and dark green creates and uneasy contrast.

Oh well, at least you can wear that jersey when you play hockey or something and don't have to worry about dirtying up a real jersey.

besides online, and sport chek sales, the team store is actually not badly priced.. i found that their premier jerseys with names were 219, where places like vancity sports had it for 229.

i know luongo jerseys were selling for about 150 or so at the hockey shop in surrey... the 40th ann jersey i also lower in price than the orcas lately

thats what i said, dont care if i mess it up

at the time, it was a sunny day when we met with the guy and basically grabbed them and took off, so without anything to compare the color do i didnt realize how off it was until i got home

God damn. I know this has been covered a million times in this thread, but I wouldnt be caught dead with a fake jersey. At least buy an authentic replica! They dont have to be real jerseys, but at least the replicas are fantastic quality, are 100% correct, and support the team. And I mean, If you're spending $100 on some shit from china, why not spend the extra $19 and get something authentic!?

I'd say that one in every 7 jerseys in Surrey is fake. Makes me cringe when I see one. If you plan on buying one, at least buy a used one that's a replica, and not a total fake. I've seen absolutely brutal fakes that have terrible color, logos, and lettering.
