http://twitter.com/ctvottawa We had erroneous information on Pat Burns. We have nothing to report about his medical condition at this time. about 1 hour ago via web I hope whoever broke that story for them gets reprimanded or fired. Seriously, how the hell do you fuck up on that? |

The sources were wrong. So your point is moot. Kev |

So me and my mom were laughing and I whipped out my camera and motioned like I wanted to get a shot of him so he pretended he was eating it lol Posted via RS Mobile |
Yeah its not funny to joke around about someone dying (not directed at Ch28) |
I heard the false news about Pat Burns on several radio stations this morning. I guess once one source reports that he passed away, everybody jumped on wanting to be the first to announce it. If I was Burns, I'd be pissed! Wanting me to die so fast?! |

But being up there is a different experience from being on the lower levels. I've been to the BB club 3 times. Each time they had different food. Food and drinks are included. If you want to show off to a chick who doesn't care about hockey then the BB club is totally baller. I was one of the first people to yell and scream when Kesler scored that goal against Washington because I had a really good view from above. If they care about hockey, each section/row has their own pro's and cons. I've been on row 4 in section 119. You can see everything in your end of the rink. For the far end, you will have to look up at the jumbotron to see. Also, the glass distorts some of the action if you are looking down ice. Top of the lower bowl behind the net. Can't really see where the puck is because of the safety net. Action at the other end gets a little small. Row 21-23 of section 104. Getting a little far away and need to look at the Jumbotron to see what is going on. Row 9 right on the center ice redline behind the players bench. Good view of everything on the ice, and can see into the players benches. A little close and view of the ice goes to shit but you are closer to the players. It's like going to a concert. Front row unobstructed view is best, but being served all you can eat and drink pop is fun too. |
Can't believe the team is on the ice right now. Was just listening to team1040 and Hamhuis looks good. Hodgson cleared to practice. Pre-Season next week! |
lol blake price got screwed, he's on evenings AND weekends now? lol |

It seemed like eons ago when people were freaking out on some poor RS member starting the Official 2010/2011 Canucks Thread before the pervious season was over. We're now into page 144 or something before pre-season begins. Glad we can finally start to talk about the Canucks again. I guess the thread kept people kind of connected to hockey over the summer. BTW, who really cares about Pat Burns? I mean if it were Arthur Griffiths or even Pat Quinn, I'd be like shedding a tear. Pat Burns? J/K even he deserves a RIP.............. but, the Fokker's still alive! LOLOLOLOLOLOL |
U know your deprived from hockey when u can't wait till the first pre season game starts Posted via RS Mobile |
Cody Hodgson looking good in the early drills. Here's some short interviews: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sport...rticle1713060/ http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/juniorhoc...sun-ca-3543457 "Abraham Lincoln really went through a lot to get where he was," said Hodgson, speaking publicly for the first time since his arrival in the city last week. "He suffered a lot of setbacks and was shot down a lot - maybe that's the wrong word - but he really went through a lot before he went on to do some amazing things." |
