if you shave your beard and the canucks lose, it will be all your fault.

My issue is ppl supporting these low life who make fakes!

no offense, but you sound way too righteous.

I surely hope that if you ever buy a diamond it's conflict free, or that you do not wear any big name brand clothing ie. nike or adidas since little children bust their ass 16 hours a day for a $1 to make it, or your running shoes, or you have an electric car because buying gas would be supporting the big oil barons, etc.

You can't address one issue ie. supporting "low lives who make fakes" and ignore a similar issue ie. supporting "low lives who force children to work 16hour days for $1"

Shit I'm not going to shave mine off and just think we have maybe only a week left. The g/f hates it so that means she won't let me do any work :D

The moustache part almost completely covers my upper lip and gets food on it when I eat. Looked even more stupid when I got my haircut last week since I go guardless at the bottom.

But whatever, I wear this motherfucker like a battle wound. :fuckyea:

Seems like hamhuis is suffering lower back pain. The piriformis syndrome, usually is day to day injury and its very easy to injure that muscle again.

looks like left LCL to me.

UFO 06-03-2011 04:05 PM

^that's what I was thinking...damned hard to sprain LCL but Lucic on your back is quite some weight to bear

SC patch on alternate jersey, got it done at hockey shop, stitched on, in and out in less than 10 mins

Delish 06-03-2011 04:07 PM

Got this from VancityBuzz:

Premier Clark will be lighting the Olympic Cauldron for Canucks away games. Here is the official tweet from @DowntownVan:

Premier Clark will re-light the Olympic Cauldron on June 6 at 3pm for @VanCanucks away games.#bringithome via @C1961g
You can also watch the games on the big screen at Canada Place. So catch the game and check out the cauldron.

Wearing a towel is supporting the team, b/c those towels are $5 , or free at the game. They are authentic!!!! You are supporting the team.

I said ppl who wear fake shit are not supporting the team but hurting it. Imagine if everyone bought fake shit and they lost all revenue from merchandise.

You completely missed the point. Why am I not surprised :crazy2:

im sorry if i missed your point, but anyways wearing fake stuff is what im against. You can paint the jersey on yourself and thats support too.

if his lcl is torn, couldnt you technically play with a brace of some sort? it can't really get much worse can it? then off season surgery?

looks like it could possibly be an ankle this too.. his edge gets planted and looks like some inversion that happens.

Can't tell from the pic but how's the quality compared to the ones that come with the patch? I need to get mine done really well cause it's going on a signed jersey.

not bad i havent seen the one that comes with the patch to compare, but the patch came from team store and hockey shop just stitches it on rather than iron

The brace will stabilize and protect the knee, but it is a bit restrictive and uncomfortable; same with MCL, ACL, PCL. We did a brace for B-Mo when he was with the Ducks and tore his ACL. MCL/PCL injuries are almost always non-surgical for recovery. IF it is his LCL, his knee's probably swollen and a brace won't allow him to play if his ROM isn't there.

I thought ankle initially, but it was classifed a 'mid-body injury'. Could just be a smokescreen though

What makes you think no-brand clothing doesn't employ child labor? And buying gas is wrong because it supports big oil barons, but buying electricity is fine because it supports big electric companies?

I don't think anyone is ignoring those issues. But we still can't get the simple one straight. Buying fake is WRONG. Fakes are illegal and against the law.

mako 06-03-2011 04:31 PM

when did this thread change from the Canucks thread to the counterfeit goods thread?

I'm not saying that buying no name brand clothing doesn't do the same thing.
I'm just saying it seems rather silly to be so uptight about buying fakes since we all do fucked up things and that we all support some form of unethical behavior.

And just like buying fakes is against the law, so is smoking weed, not completely stopping at a stop sign and smoking within 6m of an entrance.
My point is people do not always follow the law, we are not always ethical or moral. So it's hypocritical of us to say one party is unethical when we ourselves are unethical. No one is perfect.
Then again this is a forum, which is meant for discussion. So yeah....

On another note GO CANUCKS GO

i've been growing mine since round one as well. i only shaved after R1G5 because something had to change and it did! since then, it's been sticking around and it's kind of funny because i'm not a hairy guy at all. all i have is a weak mustache and some growth on my chin hah.

who's got that "okay guy" photo with the playoff whiskers? i think SkinnyPupp posted it on this thread a long time ago.

for me, it is more that the fakes looks liek absolute SHIT and makes whoever wears it look like an idiot... so i guess that is their own problem.

punkwax 06-03-2011 04:46 PM

Holy shit. Take the fake jersey talk to PM, this is getting ridiculous. Reading the last 10 pages will kill brain cells faster than drinking copious amounts of 151 while watching Jersey Shore.

:fuuuuu:

mako 06-03-2011 04:55 PM

Change of topic ...

sooooo Andrew Alberts is supposed to be in tomorrow eh?

winson604 06-03-2011 05:11 PM

Can we just make a separate thread on Fake vs Real debate if this is going to continue please. I'm coming in hear wanting to read about Canucks Hockey but getting very frustrated sorting through all this crap. Thanks

Hondaracer 06-03-2011 05:15 PM

My playoff beard is out of control, mustache hairs touching nose hairs, super annoying lol
