Hodgson wasn't cleared for full contact until about 5 minutes ago, so that's why he isn't in either lineup. Expect him to play vs Oilers on Wednesday.

That doesn't mean Hodgson has a roster spot. He's on group C and not playing in the pre-season game because he's still not taking contact due to injury.

I think Hodgson starts on the Moose this season and gets called up around November...just as precaution and to get his legs going after such a long injury period.

As much as I would like to see Hodgson w/ the Canucks, I rather have him down w/ the Moose (hopefully with Jordan too). No use rushing his development and he can develop chemistry with Jordan down there too and they could come up as a pair.

I'm fine with him not getting a roster spot just as long as he works his ass off. I can see him starting with the Moose though.
