PLAYOFF STORE ON GRANVILLE ANS ROBSON HAS TONS OF SC PATCHES LEFT!
Posted via RS Mobile

Spidey 06-05-2011 03:42 PM

man vancity sports is a ripoff.. i can't believe they would sell teh patch for 50... and their jerseys are even 10bucks more than the team store.

i just got my patch and ironed it on myself... seems to be holding up very well... as well as the premium line heat pressed crest and vancouver letters are from reebok... will probably stop by my tailor to get it sewn on tomorrow though

I'm no expert but I assume one could get one ironed on and stitched? lol

If not I will stitch it on when my eBay order comes.

spoon.ek9 06-05-2011 04:03 PM

a quote from Harry Neale (in today's Province) describing the Bruins trying to control the Canucks in this series:

"it's like trying to hold three pounds of shit in a two pound bag"

:haha: made me lol

shawn79 06-05-2011 04:11 PM

These Detroit Red Wings New era caps are so sick... but sorta against it buying another hockey team hat

is this the location off the granville station? he was pretty nice to me and my buddy when we went before the san jose series.. but selling above MSRP when you are a shop, is immoral, imo.

and as for stitch or iron on.. i would iron on if i didnt have anyone to stitch it on... but you might as well iron it on AND stitch if you were going to stitch it anyways.. that is just me... I wish the premiem jerseys had the vancouver print stitched as well.. and even the outline of the orca.. but then price would be up.

I thought I would have to pay $200+ just to get a towel at a game.

$50 for the patch is retarded. You can buy 2 at Canucks Store for that price.

I remember when I went before the SJ series ended, jerseys were going for $300 each. Not sure if that is the price now.

They also sell the towels for $5 if you really wanted one.

TRDood 06-05-2011 04:22 PM

Great deal for $10. There are going to be so many empty seats tmr as well. I don't think people are able to unload their tickets at 50 each.

So happy to get 4 tix in the club section. :D

Which store did you get it done at? and how quick was the turnaround?

I hear ya on that one. Having cup holders makes a huge difference during the game. Make good use of them I expect double fisting to be the minimum.

Iceman_2K 06-05-2011 04:46 PM

Stitches. There's like 3 of them. They wanted an hour, but i was back in half to pick it up. I'd do it myself, but i'm too lazy to pull out and setup the sewing machine. You have to tell them what kind of stitch to use, or show them a picture of the stitch, or else its a normal straight stitch.
