Some places do sell it for cheaper on boxing day. Like 3-4yrs ago Gameon Sports had buy 1 get 1 free on boxing day. Last year, my buddy saw and got buy 1 get 50% off another.

He did put in Schneider so that he and Luongo could get the Jennings trophy. I would not be surprised to see AV put Cody and others in at a non critical point of the game just so they can say they played and get their name on the cup.

While it is true, the canucks are definitely the same team mentally than they were in round 1. What annoys me is people still saying "remember round 1". Although it will be the most epic series in Canucks history that lead them to this run, it was what made them get rid of nashville and San jose in 6 and 5. respectively.

If the Canucks play the way they have they will sweep. Chances are they won't, but I won't be surprised if they do

I don't think AV will try to play someone just so their names COULD get onto the cup - that's suicide in a SERIES that we're only up 2-0, and "anything can still happen" stage.

Play the right players that will win games and contribute effectively because at the end of the day you need to EARN your right to have you name put on the cup and not because your coach was trying to be nice to you to make you feel included.

AV put Cory in for the last couple of the regular season games because we already locked up everything (president's trophy, 1st place in division, conference, and league) and that he could AFFORD to be nice and try to get Cory's name onto the trophy. The same can't be applied in the friggin' Stanley Cup final where even one SHIFT can change the entire outcome of the series...

Well why doesn't Tanev deserve it? When our D went down with injuries, Tanev was called up and worked his ass off for us. An undrafted kid did better than some of the other guys. Maybe AV wants to reward him?

its the stanley cup finals. you play the guys that will get you the win in the current/next game. you don't take chances starting a bunch of guys you normally wouldn't just so they can be added to the cup. cody and tanev are younger guys and will eventually have to earn their place in history.
