Counted 8 Status updates hating on Lu before 3rd Period.

Just take off your fake jersey now, Bandwagoners.

Poor game by the Canucks, but they did play with only 5 d-men most of the game. Luongo was able to play great in game 7 against Chicago so I don't think he is as fragile as many think to let this game get to him.

He's such an emotional goalie.

He'll be fine. We're in the SCF and he's had blowouts along the way.

Hope the WHOLE team bounces back after all the bad that came out.

We'll win on Wed, we've seen this before...Canucks lose big time and bounce back next game.

shawn79 06-06-2011 07:16 PM

spotted alot of RS"ers @ rogers arena :troll:

jigga250 06-06-2011 07:18 PM

WTF Happened to our PP? Absolute garbage. I expect a huge game from the Sedins on Weds.

Someone remind me again, why are Rome and Alberts playing over Ballard and Tanev? Rome takes 1-2 bad penalties every game, the Nucks will be better off with him suspended on Weds.

Lucic should get a game too for his punch to the back of Burrows head.

european 06-06-2011 07:19 PM

Crap. For some silly reason I feel like its my fault cause I posted a picture of a Turtle with a Canucks towel so I need to apologize (I'm terrible sorry) but whatever the reason, it doesn't matter. There are still plenty of games left and the Canucks WILL WIN THE STANLEY CUP!! Let's put out that positive vibe guys! Canucks will come back in game 4.

PP hurt us more than it helped :(

jigga250 06-06-2011 07:22 PM

Oh, and Craig Simpson is a moron.

"Tim Thomas has really gotten in their heads"

[less than a second later Hansen scores]

Did you guys hear that Mark Wahlberg is filming a new movie called "the fighter"?

prob gonna get failed for this

but it is so true

XplicitLuder 06-06-2011 07:23 PM

come on .. no one really expected a sweep lol if you did..D: lol Nonetheless..i wasn't expecting this kind of score. My prediction still stands nucks in 5. Our D played not the greatest today and shit just happens sometimes lol Def woulda been better to play Tanev and Ballard..Tanev was amazing in his game against San Jose.

Hondaracer 06-06-2011 07:27 PM

no one "gets in their heads" after one game

Wongtouski 06-06-2011 07:31 PM

I keep waiting for a video message from Mark Wahlberg saying "Say Hello to your mother for me" on the big screen at the end of the game, it didn't come LOL

Okami 06-06-2011 07:32 PM

LOL the guy on team 1040! is ranting about "steve tambellini" XDD :troll:

Like in Chicago when they got blown out in game 4, and made a "bounce back" in game 5. :troll:

Maybe it's my fault. I jinxed the team. I bought a Stanley Cup coin bank from Shoppers Drug Mart today. Early declaration of winning the cup...

That's okay. Canucks in 5, winning the cup at home is always sweeter than winning on the road.

cliffhanger33 06-06-2011 07:47 PM

Even though I'm confident with Canucks, it's such a lowblow to lose like that today.
But still, we definitely got this haha
Almost sure we will bounce back on game 4
It's just a wake up call

Honestly, they played a great period 1 - how many teams survive a 5 min powerplay? They're still one game up on Boston - and the next game is Wed. We regroup, look at the replays, and tweak the process. Same thing we did in the previous games, the same thing we did after the previous 2 games. We didn't have a lot on the bench, and I'm sure AV asked Luongo what he wanted after the 4 goals, so before we go out and ask to hang any of the players or AV, remember that they've made it this far without us doing coaching from the couch. What hurts more, losing 2 to 1, or losing 8 to 1? When you lose 2 to 1, you lost because you didn't have the extra bit to make it into overtime. When you lose 8 to 1, it doesn't matter because there's the next game - and we don't care about the score anymore. At the end of the day, its about the number of games we won - and we're still 1 game up on Boston.

For the bandwagoners - especially the Premier - this is hockey - you support the team thick and thin. These guys made it this far - award after award - and it ain't going to stop now. They don't touch nothing but the Cup, and its one game at a time. If you don't like that, and can't stomach losses, then you might want to return that nice shiny jersey you just bought.

Lu isn't to blame at all. he played well, most evidently in that 5min major PP. i feel bad for the guy, but he was a huge reason that we won Gold in the olympics, and he'll be back to bring us to the cup

no big deal, winning the cup at home just makes it all the better!
