ANYONE SEE THAT LITTLE KID DURING INTERMISSION? HIGHLIGHT REEL GOAL !!
Edit:
I also heard that Alain wanted to pull Luongo (forgot after which goal).. but Luongo said he wanted to stay in and Alain said okay..... Not sure if this is true, but if it is then I kind of feel bad for Luongo.

So a lot of talk on the radio about Kesler been mauled by 4 Boston players after the whistle and the only player coming to his aid was Salo, Sedin's skated off. This was when the score was 4-0 and the Canucks were on the PP.
My opinion is you should stay on the ice and help your teammate, not skate off to the bench but I'm going to try to see if I can find a clip and see exactly what went down.

Whoa... If that's true, then damn! Good on Salo for helping Kesler out!
I dunno, I think it's much worse to let the goalie have the decision whether he gets pulled or not...
Well I think it's just a matter of confidence. AV letting him make the decision shows he trusts Luongo.
Luongo deciding to stay in to tough it out shows he's confident with himself.
The game really wouldn't have turned around with Schneider in net, and Lu would rather stay in than sulk in the locker room or bench.
The frustration's now on himself, or the team, and not at the coach.
I don't really see it as a sign of AV losing control of his goalie.

I don't think it's a sign of AV losing control of his goalie either. I think AV never had control of his goalie in the first place.
Letting the other team run up the score, they know they have the ability to score as many as it takes to win. On the other hand, the Canucks can't score more than 2 goals a game on average against TT. This is a potential huge mental boost for Boston, let along a potential ego crush for Luongo.
That isn't even taking into consideration the possibility of injury for no good reason...
I really think AV is an amazing coach, and the team is really well coached. I trust all his decisions, including how he deals with Ballard. But to let your goalie (who used to be the CAPTAIN for some reason) decide if he wants to stay in.. that just seems to go against all common sense.
