This was a waaay more vicious hit, how the fuck was there no penalty? Just cause Jones didn't get injured, there was no suspension.

SMH

i like how the boston fans are so chilled after the hit in that video, but when horton gets knocked down they fckin lose it and act like they've never seen it happen before!

Odd sight, who's behind this promo?

JesseBlue 06-08-2011 03:36 AM

Funny about all the comments on new England, mass, new Hampshire comments regarding the Rome hit...

You can tell that they have little bit of hockey iq...and a bunch of bandwagoners

GAME DAY! God I hope this series only goes 5 games, not sure if my liver can handle 7 games lol.

SkinnyPupp 06-08-2011 07:52 AM

Yeah I could use some sleep too... getting up for these games, especially during the week I am moving, is brutal

Canucks supporters assaulted by fans in Boston
"People were confronting us, trying to fight us in the hallways and stuff like that," he told CTV News in Boston.

"And even out on the streets after it was a mob like walking back to the hotel. A guy tried to pull us out of the cab and was like trying to confront us there."

A group of female Canucks-jersey clad fans said they had pepper thrown at them by men wearing Bruins jerseys.

What you are failing to realize is that they have this special provision for behind the net just to make that area akin to the open ice.

Which means the two hits take place in areas on the ice that are equally weighted in terms of allowing hits to the head.

TouringTeg 06-08-2011 08:13 AM

Damn. I was fearing for the Canucks fans lives who were at game 3. Nasty.

Gumby 06-08-2011 08:13 AM

After watching the Bure interview, I find it amazing that someone that fucking good can retire, then not put on the skates for 6-7 years and counting. If you're a pro hockey player, prior to your retirement, hockey is you life!

Ch28 06-08-2011 08:19 AM

YEAHHHH SON

FarhanLaljiTSN Farhan Lalji

Ballard is in. Expect he'll play with KB3. Pairings: 4-3, 23-5, 41-5. Last fwd will be game time decision. Glass, Tamby, Oreo came off early

SkinnyPupp 06-08-2011 08:26 AM

Wearing a Canucks jersey in Boston is just stupid. You can get away with that in places like San Jose or Nashville, but forget about going to places like Boston or Chicago like that. You're just asking for confrontation.

By all means go see your team play live, but leave the jersey at the hotel.

I know you are just asking for trouble when you wear the opposing team's jersey during their home game, but I expect the basic human decency to not be accosted as a result of it.

Me wearing a Canucks jersey suddenly doesn't make it okay to be verbally and physically assaulted as a result.

Because at the end of the day, we are all hockey fans. Lets all respect each other as such.

BTW, this post isn't an attack on Skinny, I am just making a blanket statement against the select few (Boston and Vancouver fans) who choose to make their team affiliation as a mask for their debauchery.

SkinnyPupp 06-08-2011 08:36 AM

you shouldn't expect basic decency, that's why you shouldn't wear an opposing jersey ;)

In places like Boston, Chicago, Vancouver, you have beer + strong team loyalty. In places like San Jose and Nashville, you just have beer. That's why it's a better idea to just stay on the safe side and not wear your jersey out, rather than wear it out and then complain when you have confrontations with drunken fanatical goofballs :)
