We're hurting for Hamhuis atm, hope to god the guy is ready for next game..
If the injury is serious and he isn't gonna be able to return for this series, AV should just fucking say something

AzNightmare 06-08-2011 05:05 PM

What's with the lackluster powerplay. Our PP just died.

On that delayed penalty, when Luongo went to the bench,
was worried that the pass that missed everyone was going to head into our own net.

The Canucks are barely hanging on. If we lose this one, the series is going their way. Boston has stepped it up and has surpassed the Canucks in just about every facet of hte game. The Canucks are a beaten up team right now.

Seen this too many times over the 40 years. I keep thinking this is a different team, they will bounce back. I'm not so sure.

Not even gonna comment on Luigi. He's our goalie and nothing, barring injury, is gonna change that. I wish he'd play at least up to par with Thomas.

Thomas>Luongo.

But what are you going to do? Just pray the situation turns around - somehow.

Boston>Vancouver.

That's what it looks like right now.

Nevermind that. Ballard worries me.
He's overcomplicating things with his "dekes" and "dangles" when he's under forecheck pressure.

Needs to keep it simple and just chip it up the board or pass it.

spoon.ek9 06-08-2011 05:07 PM

you have to give credit to the way boston has defended against our powerplay. it's not purely because the canucks aren't doing shit. but of course we need to figure this out and get the PP back on track.

BlackV62K2 06-08-2011 05:08 PM

Boston came back with a huge 2nd period last game.....we can do the same

We keep saying we need this person or that person. No, we need the players on the ice to show up. Where's the fight and determination? Where's the speed and skill?

spideyv2 06-08-2011 05:09 PM

It's too bad Henrik and Kesler are beaten up right now

pure.life 06-08-2011 05:10 PM

If Boston can score 4 goals in one period, so can we! Keep up the spirits. Go Canucks Go!

mako 06-08-2011 05:12 PM

Rachel McAdams!

spoon.ek9 06-08-2011 05:12 PM

man, this is so stressful. it's hard to enjoy the game like this sometimes hah.

but hey, we're in the finals and next game is at home. i said it before and i'll say it again: if the canucks play a good game and still end up with a loss i'm okay with that. so long as it's not another blowout and complete loss of composure, there will be positives to draw from this game. right now the canucks are still a tad apprehensive. we need a couple of goals to regain some confidence.

Bonka 06-08-2011 05:12 PM

We've been touted as having depth. The rest of the guys need to step it up too. Can't always expect Henk and Kes to pull us out.

On an unrelated note, Rachel McAdams :p

Nobody is jumping off the bandwagon. There is no fucking bandwagon here on RS.

.... where were you during the season? LURKING?

Here on RS that the word bandwagon is frowned upon. The regulars who have been posting here every freaking game since the beginning of pre-season, bleed blue and green. We are true Canucks fan.

Damn rights we want the Canucks to win........................

Keep up the bandwagon comments and you will earn the biggest number of fails in RS history.

MarkyMark 06-08-2011 05:17 PM

Where is our speed they are all over us

k3mps 06-08-2011 05:18 PM

god damn how much time are we going to let them stay in our zone!?

Great68 06-08-2011 05:18 PM

It's not jumping off the bandwagon to acknowledge your team is getting outplayed.

If, there wasn't a thing called "Tim Thomas" on the other end.

We are going to get two, maybe three goals on Thomas on a perfect day.

I'm still waving the towel.

Not really racist! 06-08-2011 05:22 PM

:fuuuuu:

StylinRed 06-08-2011 05:22 PM

Is it just me or do the shots to Thomas seem either really soft or really far from net?

and has Bieksa hanged his boxing gloves?

MG1 06-08-2011 05:23 PM

The good news is, Luongo has only let in one goal. We need to help him out by scoring one pretty damn soon. Stay in the game and get a lucky bounce.

BlackV62K2 06-08-2011 05:24 PM

Fuck Raymond is pissing me off

Bonka 06-08-2011 05:24 PM
