NHL.com usually has post-game interviews from both sides, and the home sites (Canucks.com) will have more from our side. |

if you don't mind me saying.... are you planning on changing that? |

Despite the results from the last 2 games, the series is 2-2 next game at home. We're OK :) |

Totally off topic - but i was rewatching the 2010 Olympic dvds that I bought and was reminded of how epic things were....the drama of this Cup final is even more epic. |

They played a helluva season and playoff. They made it this far and they're not through yet. They need our support more than ever and we oughta give it to them. Yes, we were absolutely demolished in games 3 and 4. Tim Thomas was phenomenal and the Canucks were not in their A-game, to say the least. But hey, the series is far from over. We're still the same team that won against them in games 1 and 2 (with a shut-out and only 1 GA by Bobby Lou). This is still the same team that exorcised and defeated the defending SC champs. This is the same team that won the President's trophy and we're sure as hell still the same team that is only two games away from finally winning the Stanley Cup after 41 long years. We are all Canucks indeed! Bring it home boys! :D |
Honestly though where the fuck was all our speed from GM 1 to first period in GM 3? We stopped skating completely in these past two games. Ppl kept saying we're getting boxed out, we're getting out hit and Bruins are so much better. Yes because the Canucks are not skating and are playing at the speed level the Bruins can skate in. |
"Not Lui's fault!" link under the main picture on canucks.com doesn't work... probably because it is his fault |
Pisses me off: |

I have always referred to the Canucks, Team Canada and any other team I cheer for as "we". I've always thought of the fan was as important as the player. Without us, they might as well not play. Without fans, there's no professional sports. It's not about whether or not fans have influence on how they play or not. I'm well aware the hockey gods will probably not care about my terrible playoff beard but it's about solidarity. I'd do anything within my power to tip the scales even the smallest of fractions. |

Does anyone find Facebook status' after losses extremely annoying? The thing that really gets me is people who instantly jump to blaming Luongo for every single goal. People who haven't played the game at a high level or at all don't know how fast everything is moving, and one tiny bounce can swing the game in a whole different direction. Obviously Lui could have played better, but everyone always can. The only goal I can really fault Lui on is the first goal, where he was cheating a bit and expecting the shot a second sooner than it was released. The stats over the past 2 games are deceiving, because the team has been pretty awful as a whole. Adding to that is the fact that our defence has looked absolutely wretched the past 2 games, injured or not, they just aren't playing at the level they needed to to win the past 2 games. Pinching at the worst of times, being caught flat footed, etc etc. You also have to consider the fact that the Canucks could not put the puck in the back of the net. Blame Lu all you want, but 1 goal over the course of 2 games in the SCF is just not good enough. Despite the facts that the reffing has been atrocious, our powerplay has been extremely lack luster and it was something that propelled us to the top of the regular season standings. The Canucks need to get back to playing their game. Stop blaming Lui when this is a team sport, lose as a team or win as a team. Live and die by Lui, we'll get the job done on Friday. Go Canucks go! |

Go ahead, listen to Team 1040 tomorrow. If you aren't setting fire to your stereo within 10 minutes, you have much higher tolerance than me. |

Cant wait for this epic series to continue on Friday! We are two wins away from the Stanley Cup, that is all that should matter right now. Go Canucks Go! |

It makes for an interesting series. Hell, hopefully it wakes the Canucks up a bit. |
reading two wins away from the stanley cup everytime i click this thread hurts me more than we were 2 goals away from the stanley cup in 94. |
i'm not sure what else can be said or done at this point (by us). old man is right, outcome of the game is entirely on the players on that ice. but! i will retain my playoff beard as a sign of faith. again, win or lose this is my team and i am proud of what has been accomplished thus far in the '10/'11 season. canucks need to show up with their "A" game the rest of the way. we are the better team, we just need to start showing it again. and please, could we stop talking about the EA prediction? it's grasping at straws and desperate when all you're clinging too is a prediction based on a video game. i mentioned this long before the playoffs but i would like to say it once more. the canucks may or may not win the cup this year. thankfully, our cap has been managed much better than chicago's and we have our core players locked up at relative discounts. this of course means we won't have to be dismantled to the degree that chicago's roster did. now that we've come this far, of course i want to see them win but i will be just as happy to see them play again next season either way. this is clearly the best the franchise has ever been since it's creation in all facets of the game. |

honestly though, its fair game for thomas. i think we're making his job too easy most of the time. he's getting away with a lot of shit cause we are letting him. i think the second he steps onto white ice, rough him up a bit. he knows he's in his safety zone as long as he's touching blue paint. |
