Theo's an idiot. He said we would be out in the first round.

Even if we lose game 5 we still got chance! Let Canucks play their game and win their cup for Vancouver!!!

Canucks have no chance in Boston if they lose in Vancouver tomorrow night...

why are people worried ..the series is tied for fuck sake ...how the hell you think boston fans felt going back home with 0-2

its not over till its over ... we didn't play well in boston just like how boston didn't play well enough to win in vancouver

its the Stanley cup finals fools ... teams don't go down without a fight and history will tell you canucks never make it easy for themselves

as for Luongo .. you don't get to the Stanley cup finals with a bad goalie ... look at the replays they're were many break aways and bad bounces that were no fault of his and he also made numerous big saves

!Nhan 06-09-2011 03:32 PM

It ain't a problem till you lose on home ice. There's a reason you play for home ice advantage all year long.

Probably because Boston has all the momentum now, having outscored us 12-1 in the last 2 games. Just a guess.

boston got shut out in their first game and canucks went in to game 3 with an OT winning goal and all the momentum in the world ... things goes both ways

as far as i'm concerned .. the stanley cup playoffs just started with canucks having 2/3 home ice advantage

12 goals in 2 games and keeping your opponent to 1 goal in the last 2 is more of an advantage imo

I think if we win tomorrow, we take it in 7

there's a lot of talk now that kesler is hurt. i wonder if it was the same injury from the SJ series or the big hit he took early in game 2 when he was slow to get up. i hope he can return to form soon if hamhuis isn't returning. our guys are getting banged up at the wrong time but i hope they can all find something and dig deep for 2 more wins.

shawn79 06-09-2011 04:10 PM

too late for schnieds to pull a 2006 cam ward

rb 06-09-2011 04:10 PM

some might hate me for this suggestion this but I'd like to see the lines shuffled. Raymond isn't doing anything offensively and it seems like the play dies on his stick. Burr on Keslers line in Rnd 1 Game 7 produced some decent results. Since Samuelson is out, the only one I'm comfortable with on the Sedin line other than Burr is Hansen.

sedins + hansen
burr + kesler + higgins
torres + lappy + raymond
tambi + manny + oreo

Hondaracer 06-09-2011 04:23 PM

momentum is overrated

You don't change things now. They have practiced, played and won as the current lineup sits (with exception to the 4th line). The only thing I do is make Ballard and Tanev the 3rd pairing on defence. At the same time I understand why the coach wants the big body of Alberts in there.

spoon.ek9 06-09-2011 04:46 PM

^ i can understand that too about alberts but i feel we need to use our team speed to our advantage. when the canucks are flying very few teams can keep up with us. i'm hoping for tanev + ballard on the 3rd pairing.

Agreed..like someone on hockey central said, stick with the solid top 4 of Edler, Salo, Ehrhoff, and Bieksa all of which are capable of logging 20-25 mins. Keep the third pairing at 10-11 mins

MG1 06-09-2011 05:07 PM

Add to that, Pacific Coliseum and you have the magic.

Hondaracer 06-09-2011 05:07 PM

ride your top guys into the ground if thats what it takes to win tommarow

the question is which 5 would you rather have?

Ronin 06-09-2011 05:29 PM

My white one has a mistake on it...what brand of shirt did they use for yours?

You can see a little of my playoff beard. It's getting annoying. How are you guys getting on with bearding?

What's the mistake? I custom-made mine. The ones from neckbeard have periods at the end but the original 'dynasty' shirts didn't have periods so I left it out on purpose.

Ronin 06-09-2011 05:34 PM

Slight overlap on two letters...and my black one fits so much better. I might go find a white tee that fits really well and get them to print me another.

Why not just contact them and tell them that it's messed up?

Hondaracer 06-09-2011 05:38 PM

my playoff beard is starting to get annoying as fuck

mustache hairs touching nose hairs, side burns touching my ears :@

only touched it up once, and that was after Lu shaved his in the first series, outside of that the last time i shaved was the weekend before the chicago series
