Despite the 4 minutes of hell in the first period, this wasn't a bad game.
Hopefully we can shut this out Game 7 and someone cuts Marchand's neck with their skate

i'm so proud of cory schnieder tonight. despite the quick goal, he played pretty damn good. that firstsave on the 5v3 got me out of my seat! also, on that 2v0, that was a great save! i have to be honest and say if that were lu on the 2v0, it would have been a goal.
however, with that said, Lu has a great record at home and he's won a game 7 and olympic gold in our building. I still trust in Lu, he's our guy. to suggest cory will start game 7 is just ridiculous.
anyways, positives from tonight:
powerplay goal
even strength goal
sedins with points
lu got some rest
cory looked great
lu got to watch cory do his thing (motivation)
lu will be pissed off after tonight (forthcoming media raping and luongo chants throughout the night). he seems to play better pissed off and under immense pressure.
you can't help but wonder what kind of game this would have been had we scored first. oh well, BRING ON GAME 7!

on a side note, i hope raymond is okay and i hope alberts isn't too injured. i have zero confidence playing ballard in a game 7... although he *is* good with tanev. wouldn't that be a huge story if it worked out well?

I'm fuming so much over the Marchaud cheap punches/facewash to Daniel Sedin. Refs call nothing its fine
But its the fucking Stanley Cup Playoffs - the sedins get pushed around way too often and need to learn how to stand up for themselves.
How do you get punched in the face 5 times and not get punched. I wouldn't punched and deck Marchaud out.

EA's simulator predicted exactly this. plus they've been right for every single series except for SJ vs Detroit where it predicted Detroit

On to Game 7 - I'm a firm believer we'll win - get the right calls and bounces.
LU will start and most likely will play lights out. We just need the entire team to step up and play an air tight game.
Some dismay defense, coverage, forecheck and hitting tonight.

Even Don Cherry was saying what the Sedin's are putting up with is wrong. He said after the game you dont treat mvp's like that its just wrong.

They're not even playing hockey anymore. We're the better team but we can't play because they're playing dirty. The only guy with skill on the Bruins side is TT. We need to step up our physical game and intimidate back like game 5.

Oh I forgot and before the game Thorton shoots a puck at Lou then razzes him near centre ice? Then when he is at the bench he yells right at the Sedin's who are looking away. Acting like they didnt hear but it got in there head. Bieksa Torres Oreo should have went down to that end and give him the stare down. But what did they do? Not a f in thing.
