Marchand is just doing it better than Lapierre. If you guys have ever watched hockey other than when you're riding the bandwagon, you would know things like this. Players like this stand out in many finals series, the best in my memory being Claude Lemieux
And for the people whining about Marchand whacking Sedin at the end of the game, come on what do you expect? If the Sedins are not going to push back, they are going to do that every time! And if Marchand and Lappy switched teams, it would be Lappy doing it instead.

After watching 6 games in this series I can only assess the following:
- Thomas is God
- Luongo is a big baby that needs constant reassurance that he's good, or he'll just suck
- I don't know what a penalty is or isn't anymore
- Bruins are a bunch of dirty cheapshot players that hack and slash at will and get away with way too much
- We dive a little to much trying to draw penalties
- This is some pretty ugly hockey and not that entertaining to watch. No flow whatsoever, no back-and-forth, no trading chances, just ugly ugly hockey
- The media is a powerful propaganda machine that dictates how casual fans view a particular incident
- Predictions based on previous games are non-existent, nothing gets carried over to the next game... which leads to my last point:
- WE ARE GOING TO WIN GAME 7 BARRING ANOTHER LUONGO MELTDOWN

Well guess what, that's how Boston plays (not just Marcharnd) and so far I haven't seen them doing otherwise because nothing's being done to stop them.
and for the love of god, PLEASE fucking stop calling everyone else bandwagoners because you think you know better or have watched more hockey and that somehow makes your opinion more valid. There are fans here that have followed the Canucks for 10, 15, 20+ years so shut the fuck up about bandwagons.
and what do I expect of Daniel when he's getting whacked? Not retaliate so that the refs can call a penalty against whoever's punching him? If the Sedins push back, guess what, both of them will get sent off. So what the hell is he supposed to do then?

^^^ True, but he's stopping shots that he can't even see, whereas Lu's not stopping shots that he CAN see. That's your series right there.
We're making him look good, which means the players are thinking way too much and trying to make that perfect shot (look a how many shots missed the net and how long it takes for us to shoot the puck, trying to wait for that perfect moment).
Thomas will win the Conn Smyth for sure based on his performance in this series alone.

We got this. Thomas isn't impenetrable, if today proves anything, its that we can score on him, there were multiple chances for more than 5 goals, he's just another goalie, not a god, he's human. We come back game 7, and we win this.
