At first I disagreed w/ the 3rd goal.. But seeing how easy Luongo got pushed out of the way.. it was like he wasn't interested in stopping the puck with EVERYTHING he had.

Reason why I don't say it is because the game is not over. I still believe. If I can score 3 goals in 1 minute in NHL11, and I don't even know how to play hockey in real life, I don't see why they cannot. lol.

It's really sad to say that even though Luongo is not playing terrible right now, but he's not even close to outplaying Thomas which is what it takes to win this cup.
I mean, for all those saying Thomas sucks, and he's a flopper and we got him solved, for those who really watch the game and understand hockey, this series hasn't been easy on him. Sedins have had great quality chances game after game on him, hell there's been a game during a Canuck blow out that Higgins had 3 breakaways which he stopped.
Unfortunately for the Luongo's asking price, he shouldn't be chasing Thomas; Thomas should be chasing him.
As for offense, even though I'd like to rag on them, Sedins are back to back Art Ross winners and potential dual league MVPers who only asked for $5M in return to be a lifetime Canucker - who was only paid a raise of $6M each to shorten their contract length by management decision.
Kinda hard to hate on that.
(disclaimer) I'm aware about the $5M cap hit, however I'm also aware that was only made possible by cap circumvention which was investigated and only luckily grandfathered in.

I mean the other option Luongo could have done is poke the puck away... but the last time he did that, it bounced off the crashing player and went into the net...

Luongo's not really playing a bad game, but Boston's defense is so solid too.
All of Canucks shots are just being thrown right at Thomas. And big Chara's there to bail Thomas out on that perfect chance.
While on our side, we got guys like Daniel Sedin trying to do the right thing by diving across the net, but ends up interfering with Luongo's desperation save.

i'm still extremely proud of our season. injuries have seriously taken their toll on us. and hey, crosby needed two years to hoist the cup. 2011/2012 season is just around the corner either way.
obviously i'm disappointed but i remain a canucks fan.
