Our team was way much better. We had Art Ross forwards, we had Selke Calibre shut down lines, and league enviable defensive depth. I can't throw the entire team under the bus considering what they've achieved this year.
The only thing they had on us was goaltending.
The BOS game was very similar to the NSH game where we outplay the other team, and somehow they still manage to outscore us in their few chances.

Was a great year for us and a great playoffs for the most part. We came so close but couldn't finish er off. I"m proud to say I"m a canucks fan win or lose.

Doesn't matter who's better on paper or reg season or whatever.
In this series alone, Boston was better, and they earned the cup ultimately.

We did not deserve to win. It doesn't matter what we achieved in the league, in every sport the real competition is in the cup games.
We don't deserve to lift the cup because champions don't fall apart and lose 8-1 in the Finals. This is a shame.

Thank you for the great season Canucks. Can't wait to see what we'll have in store in 2012. I believe we can make another deep run next season - our depth doesn't get torn apart and we'll have most of our guys with us. Gonna be a long ass year.
I still feel that the NHL head office did everything in their power to keep the Cup down south. Bunch of crooked fucks.

Better penalty killing
Better powerplay

Great year for the Canucks. But this fucking hurts. I've supported Luongo since he got here but I just can't do it anymore. I hope and I think this is what is going to happen next year, Schneids and Lu will both be given the reigns for starter and both will battle it out.
I still think we would have won if Hamhuis and Sammuelson played but you can also blame Gillis for wasting 4.2 mill cap hit on Ballard.
