ok new page. HUGE thank yous to: Every single Vancouver Canuck this year Ownership and Management the true Fans and the respectable Casual Fans long time RS Canucks thread posters (y'all know who you are) I want people to realize, all is not lost. This Canucks team will be strong for years to come and our cap has been managed in perhaps the best manner across the entire NHL. I very much look forward to the 2011/2012 season and yet another opportunity to cheer on our team. Crosby needed 2 Stanley Cup Finals to hoist the cup just once. I still believe in the Canucks with every fiber of my being. GO CANUCKS GO! |
So how many of us got some money back? This is my sadest gamble win. Won $138.79. Fuck. Posted via RS Mobile |
ok, now that my anger and disappointment has subsided... I will be waiting for next season. We will still be a strong group! Hope MayRay has a speedy recovery! |
This is why I don't watch in downtown. IT's just fucking stupid and disgusting. If I was even dumb enough to even watch in downtown, at the very least, I would have left by 2-0. But I know I would miss the game if I had left that early. Which brings me back to the point why it's fucking stupid. I would have stayed at home (which is what I did) and now I get peace AND I get to watch the whole entire (horrific) game. And now I'm chilling while goons are getting tear gassed, and arrested in downtown. And whoever was trolling in that Boston jersey. I feel bad for him. He didn't deserve to get bottled (or assaulted) but what the fuck did he expect would happen walking around with a Boston jersey on in a huge crowd of Canuck fans in SCF game 7?? I hope he recovers quickly none the less. People need to start thinking. |
What is going on downtown is nuts Even Dana White tweeted about it danawhite Hey morons stop ruining ur beautiful city of vancouver!!! Its just a fucking hockey game!!!!!! |
Don't know if this has been reported yet but Edler was apparently playing with 2 broken fingers Posted via RS Mobile |

Oh and If you are a Canuck fan be a Canuck fan. We had a great fucking season. Thank you Vancouver for an awesome season and the presidents trophy! Thank you for going all the way to game 7! Stop fucking bitching about all of the players who took them all the way!! And to the people who are cheering against teams DON'T FUCKING WATCH IF YOU CARE THAT LITTLE CAUSE I AM SICK OF YOUR BITCHING TOO!!! Posted via RS Mobile |
wow... not what any of us expected im sure But i still have to give my thanks to the Canucks for reigniting my love for the game and my hope for us to finally have a Cup (i've been pretty much out of the loop since '94 but the 2010/11 team brought it all back for me) So thank you Canucks Both teams were great today and Boston deserved the win. I was glad that the canuck fans cheered the Bruins Bettman got everyone a little too rowdy with throwing shit but it didn't grow and everyone immediately cheered for the Bruins/Thomas sad to hear about the rioting |
UFA's and RFA's for next year: Forwards RFA Lapierre, Maxim RFA Hansen, Jannik UFA Higgins, Chris UFA Torres, Raffi UFA Glass, Tanner UFA Tambellini, Jeff Defenseman RFA Sweatt, Lee UFA Bieksa, Kevin UFA Salo, Sami UFA Ehrhoff, Christian UFA Alberts, Andrew Who's still here: Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Raymond-Kesler-Samuelsson ?-Malhotra-? Hamhuis-? Edler-? Ballard-? Personally, I think Ballard is done as a Canuck. He's been a great guy through this entire season, but he just never found his place here with the team. If we trade him, that's $4.2 cap hit we can use to sign Bieksa and possibly enough to keep Ehrhoff as well (considering the cap is being raised a few million also). |
I think Tim Thomas was just trolling the whole Canuck team. Everyone was getting frustrated that he was stopping everything. And it most likely effected Luongo too, since he was the one that stated he sees it as a goalie showdown, in which Thomas destroyed Luongo in. (Thomas on the other hand said he didn't see it that way. He just saw it as, I have to stop all the pucks) After seeing the guy across the rink playing so well, your mind starts to explode on yourself. |
agreed with stylin, it was great to see all the people cheer at the end for the love of the hockey. I myself was still in too much pain to watch the Boston celebrations. ... it was also great to see Bettman get booed so hard :lol |

we need a thread to show off the playoff beards :lol |
As I took my car flag down tonight I felt a sense of accomplishment, not remorse. We had a solid season, claimed the Presidents’ Trophy, number one in the Northwest. The Stanley cup would of been the cherry on top. Good season boys. I'll be ready for next year. |
