why do you idiots keep saying this?

free agents want to goto a team that wants to win, will pay them, and is a nice place to live/raise a family. especially one thats built around a core group, in a fantastic ownership and management situation, that (from what i know) players love playing for.

Dispute the riots, the big question this summer is will Lu want to play here because we all know he's going to be blamed for the collapse.

Lu does have that clause in his contract that after 5 years, management has the option of going in a different direction. my major problem with this is, who could possibly fill his shoes? Cory will be long gone after Lu's 5th year has lapsed.

It isn't Lu's fault that Canucks offense was stimied by the Bruins D and Thomas. The Canucks needed to score the first goal and didn't. They didn't look like they would score teh first goal even if it went into triple OT 0-0. They had no legs and they looked gased. I don't blame them. The cup run is draining, and every one of their D men looked hurt and were playing 50% at best. It is too bad you play such a great regular season and first 3 rounds, to run into injuries, but that is how it goes... Congrats Boston.
