good game tonight. I must say, Hiller's helmet looks pretty good, that matte black + gold combo is nice. |
based on the after hours chat with mg it sounds like bmo will make the team. |

I must say Alberts played another strong game but it's a slower pace compared to even the regular season and a whole different level in the playoff's. Even tho he looked good now I don't think he will be able to handle it just like what we saw last year. |
The game had that regular season grit to it very good to see I would love to see BMO make this team, his skill allows him to slot in anywhere in the lineup |
BMO was looking really good out there, I think he should make it and being a fan favorite is a huge thing as well. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he took league min so he could play here. |
for those who missed it... last night's After Hours with Mike Gillis Bmo interview highlights |

BMo is clutch in OT. I admit I didn't think he could make the team before but he's got a shot and would be pretty good playing bottom 6 if he accepts the right price. That would give us just devastating depth down the middle so even if one of our guys goes down to injury, we aren't left with holes like last year. I can't think of another team in the NHL right now with depth like ours...we have NHL quality players out the ass. We have 8-9 D-men that could play. We have decent depth forwards. Seriously, even if they're just guys like Jeff Tambelini, we know they can play at this level to a decent degree of success so even if we have injuries, we aren't getting minor leaguers filling space at important times of the year. |
