Are people actually complaining about losing a PRE-SEASON game? and now hoping we had Raycroft insead of Schneider?

I wish we still had Raycroft in net last night instead of Schneider then we would hear "Why isn't Schneider given a shot to play a game"..

My post wasn't meant to knock Schneider, although I think he still needs to prove himself - I just really liked having Raycroft as a backup.

like everyone else has already pointed out, having BMo on the team would be great with his only down sides being age and lack of grit. having a play maker on the 3rd/4th line would be a great asset.

The only player that really impressed me on the Canucks was Mason Raymond. What a stud. The guy is clearly on the road to becoming the next Pavel Bure. His speed is unreal.
Edmonton kicked our asses. Eberle looked amazing!! Hate Edmonton but I think they picked a gem. Oh and Hall wasn't too shabby either

It's not so much people are getting mad losing a pre-season game as it is players who should be competing for a roster spot under performing.

Granted the blame shouldn't be squarely laid on Schneider's shoulders he is a big reason why we got blown out. He let in some softies that Cloutier would have let in when he was a Canuck. Remember, this isn't the first time Schneider has had this type of game as a Canuck.

God forbid Lui suffers another serious injury and we have to rely on Schneider to be our number #1. It would be a very sombre thought.

The veterans other than the PTO's get a pass during the pre-season. Seeing the young players not stepping up is frustrating. These players are our future and we need them to step up and that includes shirikov, shroeder and hodgson!
