I'm on the fence about SOB. I didn't like him at first (one stupid penalty after another), but he did seem like a great teammate, and got better. If the coach didn't like him, I guess he's better off with another team where he will hopefully play more?

Hordichuk traded to Florida for Andrew Peters.

hahahah Peters is absolutely useless, being a Sabres fan and watching him for all those years :( Thank god, he'll be sent directly to Manitoba or loaned to another AHL team

Yeah Peters is bad lol, but he's on a two way deal which saves the owners about 700k while he's in the minors. And it keeps Hordichuk in the NHL which is a good gesture.

Also able to him up/down freely if we're playing a team that's gunna try to rough us up.

Haha one comment I read online regarding the SOB trade:

Email the Canucks or the mag? I honestly haven't been paying close attention to the marketing campain.

Just met Burrows and he's not really that big of a guy.

He said he's ready to go but the team doesn't want to rush him back when they don't necessarily need him right away. He said that he'd probably get a different answer if they were in the playoffs though.

Said that there are plenty of quality guys on the team that can step in and fill his shoes while he's resting. He's thrilled at the quality of depth this year's team has compared to previous seasons and thinks all the hype that they've received is great motivation for them to perform to their full potential.
