I noticed the trick to making good saucer passes (whether it be forehand or backhand), especially for those short passes is to slice the puck as you make the pass to put spin on it.
I wouldn't exactly say you slice it, more so you use the heel of your stick to make the pass.
lol... if Smyth scored that, Bieksa would have got flammed like crazy again for that mistimed body block.
Since I don't have sports package, I'm watching the game now on channel 22 with the HDTV, and it's so blurry...
Is there some kind of mode to switch it so it looks normal, as if I was watching it on a normal standard tv?

These guys are pretty far away and they are making snap saucer passes which is a little easier to do.
i meant those REALLY short sedin-on-the-pp-in-the-corner type saucer passes where they aren't "snapping" it like in the video but making a smooth motion where the puck is always touching the blade til the pass is made. Kinda like a snap shot vs a wrist shot?
