The point is, a Canuck fan can't take pot shots at other teams and cower when retorted under the guise of "it's a Canuck thread." You want people to like Tegra_Devil and Blaupunkt to stop talking about their teams - then start giving warning points for Canuck fans that like to bring up other teams for taking pot shots.
(Which I don't see happening as a lot of fans like to use Calgary and Leafs as a point of reference on how awesome Canucks is)
Point is, Canuck fans are crying foul over shit they're starting themselves. The rest of my argument are just supporting evidences how Canuck fans aren't always the sharpest tool in the shed.
On a forum like hfboards or something I'd agree. But this is one thread on a Vancouver-based car site. I'm not sure why there needs to be a flame war with a Leafs fan or why anyone needs to start worrying about making their posts team-neutral.

Home field advantage, happens on every forum not a revscene thing. Go to the Flames or Leafs forum and talk Canucks, go to the Canucks forum and talk leafs or Flames it will be the same result.
It's like going to watch a football game in Oakland and crying foul when the fans there tell you to take that shit off and shut the fuck up or they're going to kill you but not quite as extreme.

It's just so pathetic when people take a game that they aren't even involved in, so seriously.

I hate getting to a game surrounded by empty seats til the middle of the first and then have to listen to office chit chat and constantly be shuffling cause people want to walk around and socialize.

There's nothing worse than seats filled with suits like at the ACC. They are more interested in using their blackberries and making deals with clients than actually watching the game. They might be good for revenue but they kill the engery in the areana.
