Love the hit by Torres at the end.

This hater's gonna hate, 'cause it's so easy to hate a jerk.

b0unce. [?] 11-02-2010 07:46 PM

Yeah, I used to hate torres back when he was an oiler.

orange7 11-02-2010 07:50 PM

I missed torres hat trick..

so did the oilers fans toss their hats since torres was an oiler half a year ago?

woob 11-02-2010 07:52 PM

Yeah, a few fans did.

raygunpk 11-02-2010 07:52 PM

^as john garrett would say: yes.............

*convo killed*

Harvey Specter 11-02-2010 08:01 PM

Damn, that was a close call but i'm glad we got our first road win before starting out on a long road trip.

Not really racist! 11-02-2010 08:03 PM

One of the biggest wins by far of the first part of the season. Can't be successful if you only win at home

PLAY 10 GAMES AS A CANUCK

DEFINE CAREER

jigga250 11-02-2010 08:09 PM

Up to 3rd in the conference:troll:

Seems like no team has really had a great start this year......we're only 2 points behind the Kings, with equal games played, and they have the best record in the league

Harvey Specter 11-02-2010 08:09 PM

...one week later and we'll hear people in this thread calling the Torres the worst signing ever.

considering how streaky torres is, I will GUARANTEE this

SkinnyPupp 11-02-2010 08:18 PM

Any way you look at it, the Torres signing was fantastic. The team basically has very little to lose with him, and everything to gain.

wow.. didn't notice that until you pointed it out... I thought we were still somewhere in the middle.

Just checked it, and apparently, the hawks are in second but played the most games. Halak is really helping the blues out with such a low goal against.

.... hm.. samuelson has only 1 goal so far... he needs to go into rage mode.

Tim Budong 11-02-2010 08:25 PM

Torres signing was suppose to..be the gritty bastard as he was known and occasionally score a goal here and there.

gotta look at it this way, theres so much grit+speed on that third line that when the plays goes on the offense with these guys, goals are bound to be scored. Its why checking lines can sometimes be the big difference in a heated playoff series.

anytime you get a guy like torres or malhotra pop in a goal means they were rewarded for their efforts in shutting down the opposition. Offensive upsides is a plus
