De ja vu.
Lack of work ethic that slowly comes out mid-way and full-force by third period. It's like de ja vu last year when we were the best 3rd period team on the league.
Not sure why we can't play a full 60 but starting the games with a 2 goal deficit sure is telling something about the team.

Q: What's better than seeing Toronto ranked 26th in the league?

As much as I hate the Flames and like to watch them lose, them sucking means less rivalry for us and less interesting.
Looking back to the games against them many years ago, damn those were some intense games. They all felt like playoff games.
Bertuzzi, Naslund vs Phaneuf, Iginla.
We really need to see them in the playoffs again to get the Rivalry going.
Also losing Phaneuf lessens the hatred as well.

Yeah, we're definitely still sittin pretty.
11 road games played and only 7 home games, tied in pts with the 4th place team, but with 3 less games played. 2 up on Colorado, and most importantly, 9 up on Calgary.
Its going to come down to winning divisional games. Colorado could put up a fight for the division, which is crucial to win to get that 3rd seed and home ice. Gotta win those Colorado games, and the Edm/Cal games, which *should* be free points by the way those teams are playing.
