Haha, Mike Green just watched the whole thing. Can't believe there's a contingent clamouring Norris for this guy.
edit:
Before people jump on me that he's out of position to make a play, if he at least put in the effort to recover back, he would've had Burmistrov on the backcheck when Burmistrov deked back onto Green's side.

He could've been there in a couple strides. He's within a stick-length at one point.
Duncan Keith wouldn't stand for that shit...and that's why he has a Norris in his trophy case.

Nothing brings tears for me like the Canucks. Most of my friends...actually, just all the girls, think I'm nuts but all the dudes understand.
All I need to hear is "He will play...you know he'll play. He'll play on crutches if he has to! He will play...and he'll play at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night! The game is over!"
Or that We Are All Canucks commercial on TEAM1040 where they do all the famous calls by Robson, Larscheid, Hughson, etc.
...shit, I got a little teary-eyed just writing that up there.

But I think the reason for the lack of effort was that was the FIFTH goal of a 5-0 game that was scored with 3 minutes left in the third period.

the coach will rip into him for that

LOOOOL that's just a dick move. He's shooting on a regulation sized net with a goal that's probably 1/3rd of the size of a real goalie. He probably could've just shot at the net and scored.

If an adult shot at that goalie, he'd probably knock him into the net.
