I can't help but notice, great Nucks win and its less than 3 pages on RS. If they got blown out 6-1, it'd be 13 pages of bandwagon jumping negativity.

No no not when they were like rubbing their hands in his face and patting him on the head and stuff but when he first got to the bench to skate by and give them all high fives, the first half of players on the bench were looking up at the screen and didn't see him lol.

sad but true. i was also rather surprised there weren't a lot of people posting tonight.

Nice to see a complete team effort with multiple lines scoring. Would have been cool if samuelsson got the hat trick to jump start his scoring this year but oh well.

Its like that on other forums too. I usually post over at hfboards during the games. When the Canucks lose, the post game threads get quite large and threads like Fire AV get bumped hah.

I kind of fell asleep during tonight's game. Usually I post as I watch. I even missed the Monster goal. Saw the highlights. Thanked those who posted, "Burrows is a Monster!" -- a Revscene tradition, LOL.

Because Canucks are supposedly built to be a "championship team." When they win like this, it's just meeting expectation. When they're stringing wins like a Presidential Trophy team, then that's when you'll get crowd hype.

On the other hand, when you're stringing loses or you're losing by blow out, that's uncharacteristic of championship team then you get more crowd reaction. Basically it's more extreme difference from expectaion = more reaction.

So again, I hate the "bandwagoning" rhetoric, but there's a completely reasonable reason for your observation.
