my pool is fucked when Datsyuk and Roy goes down on the same week, and Malkin has nothing to show for (for his standards). |
Top 10 goals of 2010 from Puck Daddy I woulda thought that the Sedin at the end of last season deserves to be there. No1 tho..i disagree. but goddamn, the victoria salmon kings play > Sedins for sure |

I'm in a keeper pool...and this guy traded Malkin and a 3rd round pick for John Tavares, Kyle Okposo, a 6th round and first round pick which likely will be a lottery pick (top 3). Then Malkin proceeded to get 5 points in a game..lol |
^too bad he hasn't been getting many multi-point games. Not even single point games as of late... |
Trevor Linden named into Order of Canada http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/C...321/story.html :fuckyea: |

He's due for a monster raise. One that we might not afford... |
The Hoff will stay. Posted via RS Mobile |
^ lol that is quite an ignorant comment , there are a few big name hockey player's wives that drive MINI's, Salo has a modest <100K NIssan GT-R . they make enuff money to drive whatever they want, but not everybody wants to drive the most expensive thing out there. If u see vancouver's top realtor who makes excess of 5M a year, he has a MINI at home too. ;) edit: comment was directed about ehrhoff buying a infiniti |
salo has a GTR? Thats dope:thumbsup: |

I think Hoff will get a $4.5m payday. Edler, might get $5m something when his contract is up if he keeps playing the way he's playing. Those articles of Edler for Norris by the time he's 31 aren't too far off. |
Gillis is going to give everyone fair deals under what they could get on the open market you can stay in Van, one of the best cities in the NHL, some of the best facilities in the NHL [IE. look at the BRAND NEW penguins facilities in 24/7, imo nucks facilities > Pens] and the chance to play on a winning franchise or you can go play in Nashville, etc. choice shouldnt be too hard for the current players we need to sign, i think their character will allow them to work out a deal that works for both sides |

Canucks have several impending UFAs next year in addition to the Hoff. Tamby almost certainly gets a new contract if he keeps this up. $1m or a little more. Torres should be re-upped at what he's making now. Hansen is a RFA and should get the same $800k if he doesn't get offer sheeted, which is unlikely. Bieksa and Salo are gone which leaves us with 5 real D-men. Alberts is up but we have Rome for another year so that's our top-6 barring UFA signings. Assuming Hoff gets $4.5 next year, that leaves us with quite a bit of money still. That's an 18-man roster (14 signed + Tamby, Hansen, Torres, Hoff) that costs roughly $53m. Assuming the cap is $63m next year, we have lots of room to work. Especially if we can get Hodgson and Schroeder up here, we'd have about $7m left over and no real holes anywhere. That's great compared to some of the other cap strapped teams in the league. Take the Flames for example. They have 17 players signed to just over $56m next year...apart from Iginla and Kipper, none of those players are any good...plus they have holes to fill on the blueline with only 4 d-men signed. We all need to give Mike Gillis a hug. |
^+1 Peace out to the Anson Carters of the world. Canucks are an elite organization and any true hockey player / person of character would take less $ to play for a Cup contending team that treats everyone on payroll first class. Edit: was in addition to Hondaracer's comment Posted via RS Mobile |
