Still doesn't make sense. I don't think anyone should lose their place on a line due to injury. And if Raymond can't shoot the puck because of the injury, why play him at all?

jerche 01-02-2011 01:48 PM

This is kinda off topic but I was wondering if anyone know of any places that I can catch the game that also serves cheap drinks (highballs, caesars, anything but beers) on Sundays??

well, If Raymond showed the trainers and coaching staff that he can shoot the puck in practice at the caliber thats expected of him, why not? Volpatti was the fill in for the injured Raymond. He earned his roster spot to be called up to the team. He showed Canucks management he can play the role given to him.

Only positives come from this, the Organization has guys that when called upon, will offer their services accordingly to make sure that when one man is down, someone is ready to to go and give the effort expected. In which cash, Volpatti exceed my own expectations for his short stint here with the team.

This is called DEPTH
Something this team hasn't really been able to build over the past 20years

If the local pub it to expensive for you buy the booze stay home and make the drinks your self.

According to Sportsnet game preview video, Volpatti is out and Hansen drops from 2nd to 4th line.

QB for the Rams, wanted to become a hockey player but didn't want to move away from home. He's a big Canucks fan after watching Bure play and met Bure in Miami during his college days.

chun 01-02-2011 05:07 PM

How's that not interference?

Tim Budong 01-02-2011 05:07 PM

The canucks still dont look too good in their own zone..and it almost seems that the standard break out of their own zone needs a bit more work to be just a lil bit better

spoon.ek9 01-02-2011 05:19 PM
