No Johnny Canuck superhero?

Quote:

The Canuck is tough, he’s fearless and he is not afraid of physical work. In look, he is mostly human, combined with certain attributes of a killer whale. He has a massive cape attached to his waist that possesses the ability of shape shifting. The Canuck cannot fly but he can propel himself out of the water to great heights. Like all aquatic mammals, the Canuck uses a hyper sensitive form of Echo Location that enables him to track enemies at sea.

The Canuck has two main super abilities – first is a form of natural empathy in which he can summon rain and during the ensuing rainstorm he can fashion the resulting downpour into any number of offensive or defensive weapons. He also has the power of summoning which he uses to call his whale friends to his aid when necessary. Hidden in the Canuck’s wrist guards and boots are retractable spikes that assist him in maneuvering through the treetops. It’s an odd sight watching this half killer whale character bounding through the trees but it’s completely natural to this most contrarian of Guardians.

wow, bertuzzi just pulled off a sick shootout move, but he missed the net... or highlight reel.

Mike Oxbig 01-14-2011 05:49 PM

i think stan lee has no knowledge for hockey what so ever... he made all these fiction heroes base on the logo itself.

Preds as a predator, Flyer as a flyer, Sharks as a shark

wtf?

AzNightmare 01-14-2011 05:51 PM

^ And Canuck as BATMAN!

Mike Oxbig 01-14-2011 05:54 PM

isnt hodgson still out with blurred vision? if it was a player from the top 3 lines id bring up shirokov 31pts in 38games but its 4th line so more than likely bliznak/desbien if anyone

Tim Budong 01-14-2011 06:21 PM

but shirokov would never be anything but a top6 guy..
and CoHo in my opinion needs to stay healthy.

I hope CoHo has a strong camp next year. I mean, Grabner, terrible camp no return, then somehow he cracks the lineup mid season and does ok

Not something that I would like to see from a prospect

dbaz 01-14-2011 06:28 PM

our 3rd line is as good as some teams 2nd that's why i said only if it was a player from the top 3 lines.4th line so grinder will just be called up or no one to try to save cap

RiceIntegraRS 01-14-2011 08:24 PM

If we ever bring up hodgson it'l be at the end of the season. If he plays a certain amouny of games for the nucks and plays really well, we will be over the salary cap. Thats why we havent called him up yet, he makes too much. Wait till maybe one or two of our top 9 gets injured then u will see him sloted it

it's amazing that Detroit can still hold their own despite losing half the team to injuries.
