Kovy is an excellent player. It would be worth it to front load a contract @ 10M per as long as your cap hit was in the 6-7ish range in the end. 10M for 10 yrs is an insane move by any franchise. Posted via RS Mobile |

Look at Hossa he signed a 12 year deal and he's 31

The Kings would be the next Hawks in the west if Kovalchuk came over. Actually right now I think the Kings are a team to look out for.

Unless their forwards take a huge step next year they do not have any consistent scoring throughout their lineup and the goal tending needs to get better too.

Kings do have a goalie in their system who's suppose to be the next big thing, I know he had a couple games last season, I think the Canucks played him, but too lazy to find his name.
