Kevin weeks is terrible. He described the canucks defenseman (cant remember who) shot the puck hard around the boards into the offensive zone as "the canucks player rimming it deep" I doubt there is a video of that, but its late in the third I believe. I had a good laugh at that one

yea hes horrible constantly during the game he commented on kippers saves being enormous and great yet when the other guy made the same comment about luongo he downplayed it lol. greatest was on tambellini.. doesnt score because he shoots lazers.. wtf. maybe hes still upset that management didnt believe him when he got "robbed" on his way to practice.

the CBC really need to look into replacing weekes after this season. but who knos if the CBC will even have the funding to renew HNIC whent he contracts up. Scott Moore left, and he did a good job cleaning up garbage with HNIC. TSN is slowly slowly taking over for hockey broadcast nationally in this country

almost everything weekes said last night was pro-flames. any call that went against the flames was a bad call, everything against the canucks was about "consistency". normally i'll stomach this idiot but last night i wanted to slap some sense into him.

No I don't. Maybe it's because I'm so Canucks biased that I enjoy listening to Shorthouse and Garrett mostly or the guys on the team 1040.
Yeah Ferraro and PM know their hockey stuff, but I just don't like listening to them as the colour guys, although I'd rather listen to them than Weekes that's for sure.

Marc Lee talks like Yoda. When Tanner Glass got shoved down after the play after charging to the front of the net, Marc Lee said "Manhandled! Tanner Glass is!"
He did this numerous time throughout the game. It's like his mouth cant talk fast enough so he just calls what he sees, then puts a name to it later.
Also, I like PM or Ferraro as the colour guys. I like a less "homer" broadcast. It makes me feel less Orwell haha.

My buddy and I are going to Phx to catch the Nucks game on feb 2. We're planning to make some signs, you guys got any ideas?
One of our ideas so far is:
$80 @ PHX = ticket, hotdog, beer x 2
$80 @ VAN = game ticket?
Got any suggestions?
