He might miss a game but probably won't.

:haha:

“I think I’m going to stay home for now, I’m sticking with my decision,” Nabokov said Sunday. “It’s nothing against the Islanders and their organization. It’s nothing to do with that. It’s just that I’m at the point in my career where I want to help a team win in the playoffs. I don’t see how I could help the Islanders or what I could do for them. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. And I hope they understand that.

“I was surprised they picked me up. I was like, ‘Wow, what’s the point?”’

Nabokov has a good point. Like really, wtf is the point in that???????

A lot of organizations understand the circumstances and wouldn't do that to a vet.

Kinda reminds me of when the Grizzlies drafted Steve Francis even after he made it VERY clear he does not want to play for a Canadian team.

First place in regular season guarantees Stanley cup, just like last time for the canucks

:troll:

It may not guarantee a cup, but it's like winning the lottery. You have to buy a ticket first. Can't do that if your team doesn't even make the playoffs.

Yeah that was a dick move by GM Snow. He obviously knew the vet wanted to win a championship. I don't see how he could help the retarded Islanders..lol

LoL... just looked it up, and yeah... seems like they have the "money back guarantee" promo from time to time... and not too many people take advantage of it.

if the canucks tickets were this cheap, I'd not study for my midterms just to go to every single game. :hotbaby:

It's not like they are even the Islanders.

Hondaracer 01-24-2011 03:34 PM

That's what they are counting on... A money-back guarantee on an $80 Canuck ticket would be financial suicide. Especially with all the cheap-asses in Vancouver haha.
